When do you spend time on OUAL?

I know we had a thread a while back about how much time you spend here, but are you on at certain times of the day more than others? Just me being nosy.

I'm all pretty much whenever I'm awake and have internet access, so my answer is "all the time". Sometimes I'll open a thread and just sit in it for hours (an annoying habit) until I can get back to it. I also tend to fall asleep without logging off (another annoying habit).

I do need to return to my goal of not having it on so much at work, or limiting myself to a few checks during the day but it. is. so. tempting. It glimmers and it wants me to look at it. My precious. http://www.kolobok.wrg.ru/smiles/remake/crazy.gif

99% of the time at work it's open. We just got the cable modem fixed yesterday at home, so now I'm sure i"ll log on at night too :blush1: However, I won't be on as late as I used to be :lol:

I am on all day long, that is when I am not working as a Nanny at their homes. I usually wake up and just check the new threads while getting the kids ready for school or what not and then through out the day come back and just look at things. I don't have a main time frame at all.

I usually get on in the morning while I'm having my coffee, then for a while at nap time, and then at night. Sometimes I'm on in between if Jackson is occupied with something and doesn't need me...I am on WAY too much, I can't help it either.

A while back I did limit myself and would only let myself get on during nap time and after he goes to bed...I need to get back to that, I was much more productive then!

I basically leave my laptop open all day. And I don't ever log off unless I have a babysitter coming over.

I do have to say that I have limited myself to keeping the laptop in the house. I draw the line at that :lol: There was a time where I would have taken it outside, but I've gotten better.

Ohhh - and I am really only on at night when Chris is traveling. So when he's home, I get yelled at for not spending time with him. So no OUAL for me unless i sneak when he's putting the kids to bed.

I was tempted to take my laptop outside a week or two ago when I was outside with the kids. :blush: But I didn't. But I really, really wanted to do so. :shuffle:

I am trying really hard not to log on from work, but I do it for mental health breaks. I log on at night when Joe isn't home too. Sometimes when he is, to be sure, but I try to limit that since it's rare we're both home together and awake. :rolleyes:

I don't even know why I'm so addicted, but I can't relax unless I've checked in here. As in right now...I just got home from work (and it is almost midnight here). I should go to bed b/c Jackson will be up at 6:00 if not earlier...but I needed to check this first. I have a problem!

I'm on in the morning when I'm eating breakfast. Then on and off during the day when I'm home. I do spend too much time on here some days :shuffle: I'm rarely on at night, only if there's nothing on tv or if I'm chatting with someone.

I come on in the morning while the kids are having breakfast... if there isn't much planned for the day and they are happily playing I will sit with my laptop and continue my looking around. Then after the kids go to bed, I pretty much sit with the telly on and the laptop in my lap and I have browsers open everywhere doing my thing but I always have an OUAL one open that I duck into through the night.. (Tony is ALWAYS either in bed or at work because of his shifts so I am alone) I can sit on here till well after midnight reading a gazillion threads and journals. (although I don't post in alot of them I tend to like to lurk)

I usually pop on here after the kids eat breakfast. Then I stay logged on all day and check back when I happen to wander by the computer or if I'm online doing something else.

But usually after I first catch up, there's usually not many posts again until later in the afternoon when the US wakes up. So I could avoid OUAL all day and not miss anything but I tend to check back in off and on anyway!

I am on a kick to "encourage independent play outside" :) so I was in the back yard with my laptop all yesterday morning while they played. No guilt. :)

If I have to work I rarely get on in the morning, but if I have the day off I'm on and off here alot! Usually after we've had breakfast and Brookelyn is reading or watching Jojo's Circus. Then (I usually leave it logged in) I try to limit myself to checking every 2 hours or so, until naptime. When she's napping I'll get everything done that I need to and then hang out on here for a while. For the rest of the evening I'm on and off a little depending on what we're doing that night. And sometimes I'm on here super late if I'm just not ready to go to bed!:)

During the week, while I'm at work, I'm on here most of the day :blush1: I work, when I need to, but I check in a lot during the day. I'll check in from home sometimes at night, but I try to limit it and spend time w/Chad and the boys.

On the weekends, I usually log on while the boys are eating breakfast and that's about it. I've gotten better about doing stuff w/them and trying to get stuff done around the house.

Same here, but I am having my second cup of tea. The boys play nicely while I'm goofing around. Then if I'm nursing Graham, I will pop on and when he is napping if Mason doesn't want to play with me.

I pop in and out all day long while I'm at work during the week. Somedays I spend more time here than others. I rarely spend any time here at night or on the weekends.

I first get on in the morning after the kids have had breakfast. I usually keep it open all morning, but I'm off doing things sometimes. Then I leave for work around 12:30. I don't get on at work because I don't have any privacy. So, I'm only on in the mornings.

I get on while having my coffee as the boys eat breakfast, and then leave it on most of the day and just check in periodically. A lot of times, I'll leave it open and on a thread while I'm away doing something. The majority of my time here is when the boys are napping (or if I'm at work).

I sneak on briefly in the evening while I've got dinner cooking, too.

Occasionally in the morning before I leave for work, occasionally after work if I get home before the nanny leave... mostly at night. I have no access at work, all BB type sites are blocked.

I'm off and on all day long when I'm home. I never get on when I'm at work though.
