If you have told a secret you swore you wouldn't tell, would you do it again?

If you have told a secret you swore you wouldn't tell, would you do it again? In a heartbeat.

Why did you tell? Becase I thought I needed to.
What was the secret?:secret: I told my cousin that her 13 year old daughter was having sex, and I told my parent's that my best friend in high school was bulimic.

If you have told a secret you swore you wouldn't tell, would you do it again? Yes, in the right situation (if I felt it was warranted, IOW)
Why did you tell? I felt she had the right to know.
What was the secret?:secret: A friend's boyfriend was cheating on her. I was friends with the guy too, but I felt she had the right to know what he was doing.

Why did you tell? Because I was really worried about this person's safety
What was the secret? I told a close friend (male) that his boyfriend was having sex with another man.... it was extremely explosive and caused some SERIOUS outcomes where the cheater ended up attempting suicide.. but even though it was a scary outcome, I would do it again because the person who was being cheated on was put in danger of catching diseases etc. It all turned out okay in the end. And even though that happened if I found the situation warranted it I would do it again!

Why did you tell?/What was the secret? I honestly can't remember what the secret was now, it was a long time ago (it was something to do with work, not an interpersonal situation). :blush: But I distinctly remember that as soon as I blabbed I clapped my hand over my mouth and told them I had sworn not to tell and forgot. Nice huh? Reeeaalll trustworthy.
