Now that are babies are 4- what do you love about this age?

Silly me. I started this thread and realized that it was the same question on the update :doh:

Anyway, I wanted a place to park some thoughts...


I love it that Lauryn can go poop by herself. She used to want me to sit in there with her and hold her hand. She doesn't make her announcement anymore. She goes, sits, and then sings while she's waiting. :lol:

That's a good one Lyndee. Hmmm.... I love the independence in general.

I'm really enjoying all the things that Carter can do now. I love watching him interact with others, listening to his "jokes", and sharing in his joy of silly little things.

Can I answer even though I'm not in this group. :)

I love observing the language/cogniitive abilities most of all. I find it so amazing to listen to Aidan tell stories and recall events. Like tonight he was telling us in detail about the hockey game he went to on Sunday, including the final score and how many goals the other team would have needed to win. And to think of all the words they know. It's especially interesting for me to watch where Colin is now, a year and a half behind Aidan, which is a constant remember how quickly they get to this level.

I also love it that I can take her places with me now without worrying about meltdowns and all the other uncontrollable and unpredictable toddler issues. We went to Target the other day and I asked her to sit in the cart. She sat there the whole time! :thumbsup:

I love it that she has been asking about me- like what toys I liked to play with when I was little.

Well, Caroline won't be 4 for 2 more months, and I'm still usually sitting in the bathroom reading books during poops, so I'm really looking forward to that ending! :lol:
