Hello, I was wonder if anyone out there could help me. I run a little daycare and the parents want me to stop giving their child a nap. The child just turned 2 yr and she goes down with no problem at all. Parents say that she will not stay in bed at bed time (7:30)and that she's up till 10-10:30pm. We have lunch at 11:30 and nap time at 12 and I wake the children that are asleep at 2:00.

Few questions:

Have the parents said that of a weekend they don't nap her and she goes down better at night?

Is it policy there to nap all children at that time?

Are you worried about the child not napping or the fact that you have all the other kids sleeping and she will be awake alone?

I can't believe a 2yr doesn't need a nap, my 4yr old still has naps on most days!
