Hi Silke. :wavey: I'm in Virginia Beach. We've been here since 2001, but now the Navy's moving us to England in October! Are you in VA too?

That's cool. I intend to do more VA travel before we leave. I've seen Williamsburg, but not Yorktown or Jamestown. We haven't even been to Busch Gardens! We plan on doing all that before we leave. Glad to meet ya!

Clare..I know, it's sad isn't it? We always think we we have enough time to go visit the attractions that are right in our backyard! My DH is really pushing us to do as much travel as we can right away in England so we don't get lazy!

You need to see Jamestown settlement. It is great for kids and adults with huts, reenactments, and even mini Mayflowers

I'm pathetic, I know. I loved Williamsburg, though. Hard to see all of it with a toddler in a stroller. Can't go in a lot of the buildings with a stroller. One of us went in and one sat outside with kiddo.

 Tourists always see more then residents! I've lived in Western Australia for 8 years and haven't been to any of the tourist places that people travel from around the world to visit :dunno: I know I'll regret it if we move away from here!
