I have a Dell pc that we bought in August 2001, and with it came Image Expert photo editing software. I use it constantly, but haven't as much lately since UB moved to Shutterfly. It's probably been 3-4 weeks since I was last in it. I don't remember if I cleaned up my hard drive (deleted a bunch of temp files and some other old crap we don't use) before or after I was last in Image Expert.

Tonight I tried clicking the icon, and I get an error message "Error Opening Database". I still have it listed under programs, and I get the same error message there. Any ideas? I checked my Program Files on my C drive, and I don't see one listed there for it....I'm afraid I accidentally deleted the exe file or something. I need to dig out all my Dell CD's that came with our computer and see if reinstalling it will help.....ack!!!

ideas appreciated!!

update: I found the program software under Sierra Imaging (parent company of Image Expert I guess) under my program files, but the ImageX.exe file is where I get the error message. I double clicked on the installation icon, it told me that there is already an edition of Dell Premium whatever (Image Expert) on my computer, I clicked yes to continue, it said it was installing/updating files...but I still get the Database error. I didn't find a CD, but I'm going to keep looking. I guess I may have to call them tomorrow....
