The girls share a room, and have done so without any major issues since Molly was 6 weeks old. Now that Emily is 3, she's napping less and less frequently. For the last week or two, I think she's napped only 2-3 times. Granted, those were 3 hour naps :ura1: but on the days she doesn't nap, she sits in bed playing and it takes Molly a long time to fall asleep.
Molly will be two in a few weeks, and desperately still needs her afternoon nap. She didn't get a nap yesterday or today, and late this afternoon she was quite the crankpuss.
Any advice on how to get her to nap without Emily there? When she would still go down for morning naps, she would cry "want my Em'ly!!" for about 15-20 minutes before finally going to sleep. I just know this is going to be a battle. I've been putting them both down at the same time, and then if Emily is still awake and getting louder after 1/2 hr or so, then I'll open the door and beckon her out quickly so Molly can keep sleeping. Tomorrow they'll be at my mom's while I'm in school, and I've already warned Mom that Emily is starting to give up her nap. At my parents' house, Molly naps upstairs and E has quiet time downstairs, so M won't know if E doesn't nap. Tuesday is what I'm dreading!!
TIA!!!
