Lately, Maggie has a very strong tendency to only poop or pee when she goes to the bathroom. Sometimes she'll go to the bathroom, do one of them, then in 15 minutes, have to run back in to do the other.

I find it hard to believe that she doesn't have to do both at the same time, so I think she's holding it for some really strange reason.

I mentioned it to a friend, and she said her almost 4yo is doing the same thing. Do we have the strangest two toddlers in the world, or are your kids doing it too?

yup. go pee, wait 10 minutes, go poop.

I never gave it much thought, but Liam does this too.

Emily's just getting passed this. She would also ask permission to pee at the same time she was pooping :dunno:

Alexia always does it at the same time. I know because...well, she tells me and I make sure she first wipes the front for the pee and then again separately w/ a new tissue for the poop. :lol: Ok..that was probably a little too much info. :lol:

We're having all kids of poop holding problems at our house. I'm sure it's similar.

Well, we're just training Colin and the poor kid went in an pooped on Sunday, was all excited and proud, then looked down in dismay because he then peed. I tried to explain you usually pee when you poop but you don't always poop when you pee. :dunno: (Er, not sure this answers your question though.)

Olivia does this too and it drives me crazy!! She'll pee and then 10 minutes later announce that she has to go poop. :rolleyes:

Very normal. My Dr said its just that they are too busy to sit long enough to do both, pee and poo, at the same time. She'll get over it, Kaitlyn did.

Lindsey does this too. She will go poop and then 10 minutes later have to pee or vice versa. :scratch: She is three.
