What grade is your child in?
How often does s/he get HW? (every day/every other day ...)
How long does it take them to do the HW?
What is their attitude to HW? Do they like it/do it on their own/need tp be nagged/not tell you and don't do HW?
What is your attitude to HW? Do you help/ let them deal completely on their own/....?
How many tests do the kids have? How often?
Do they have more than 1 test a week?
Do they study on their own/with you?
Do you ask them revision questions?
How do you study with them?

What grade is your child in? 5th
How often does s/he get HW? (every day/every other day ...) every day except for Fridays
How long does it take them to do the HW? it depends how much he has but it takes anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, generally.
What is their attitude to HW? hates it. Do they like it/do it on their own/need tp be nagged/not tell you and don't do HW? He always tells me when he has hw. I generally have to nag him to get it done though.
What is your attitude to HW? I think it's a necessary thing. Do you help/ let them deal completely on their own/....? I make him try it on his own. Only after he's tried will I help him and I always go over the answers with him whether he did it all by himself or not.
How many tests do the kids have? this varies, but there is always a spelling test on Fridays. How often? 1 to 3 a week, different subjects.
Do they have more than 1 test a week? yes
Do they study on their own/with you? I study with him.
Do you ask them revision questions? Sometimes.
How do you study with them? Going over the material, his study sheets, asking him questions...

What grade is your child in? Tylor is in 4th grade
How often does s/he get HW? (every day/every other day ...) Every day and always in more then one subject.
How long does it take them to do the HW? Depends on what it is but sometimes anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour.
What is their attitude to HW? Do they like it/do it on their own/need tp be nagged/not tell you and don't do HW? For the most part I just tell Tylor about 30 minutes after he gets home from school that he needs to get his homework out and do it and he will go to the table and do it. He only comes to us for help if he needs it. Otherwise this is the first year I have made him completely responsible. He is old enough to do it and his grades reflect that he is doing well. I often will go in and just check out what he is doing so that I am up on what he is learning but I don't help him much at all anymore.

How many tests do the kids have? How often? Just depends. They have a spelling test every week. Usually a test in a different subject every other week and then they just had the 4th grade proficiencies. Those are 2 1/2 hr. long tests. Those were the last two weeks (Every other day) and they got to have a End of the test bask on Thursday last week.
Do they have more than 1 test a week? (read above)
Do they study on their own/with you? For the most part on his own but I usually will do some with him to make sure he is studying the right thing and understanding.
Do you ask them revision questions? Yes. Tylor however is very smart and he doesn't seem to need much of this. I see this becoming more of an issue when Alyssa is at this point. But you just never know
How do you study with them? For his spelling test I just have him spell them to me. For his Other subjects right now he has Study guides and we just read over them and I ask him questions from them. The study guides are what they have created throughout the chapter. They are in the process of learning good study stratagies so that they are prepared to do them on their own in the future.
