Present for a 6 yr. old girl

I need to buy a birthday present for my 6 yr. old niece and I have no clue! Any ideas?

I work the sales floor at TRU a couple nights a week (preschool/imaginarium/juvenille) and when pple ask me this question for a 6 yr. old girl I always show them to the Imaginarium section....there's quite a bit of 'make your own jewelry' kits/sets (made by "Totally Me" or "Rose Art"). They have make your own bracelet kits, necklace kits, etc. They come w/ the beads, the charms...whatever kind you want...there's tons! They also have make your own jewelry boxes, where she can paint and design her own. This stuff usually goes off really well for a girl that age. :)

Or a little ballerina jewelry box, play jewelry from Claires or another little trendy store, Barbies are still a hit at that age too aren't they?

My god daughter is 6 and loves barbies, disney princesses, crafts, polly pockets, board games and books. My friend (her Mom) was visiting over the weekend so i got the scope of what she likes since I wanted to send a gift back with her.

Mancala is a great game, my kids love it they are (, 6 and 6 and have played for a few years.

Any Cranium game for that age group, books and puzzles, glow-in-the-dark puzzles are cool for the age group

Emily got lots of art and craft stuff for her 6th birthday last year. Make your own jewellry, scrapbooking kit, paint and draw, sprirograph, makeup, pedicure kit, Bratz, Bratz and more Bratz :rolleyes: Most of it's still unopened in a box in the top of her wardrobe b/c she got too much!!
