I am drooling over these. But at $399+ - I am having a tough time convincing DH. Anyone have one? Anyone else want one? All I hear is good things!

I have a Dyson Animal & :hb: LOVE :hb: it!!!!!!!! My husband actually likes to vacuum with it & it's amazing how much crap it picks up! I was vacuuming with the hose part the other night, and it sucked up two of DH's socks and kept on going! http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_6_213.gif (http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb001) I would DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone

All I hear are raves about them. But I don't think we are going to have much carpet in the new house. The Dyson probably wouldn't help much with hardwood floors, huh?

I still want one.

I couldn't own one just because the guy on the commercial makes me want to throw myself under a truck. :slap:

Heh.. well.. it doesn't help that I worked at Best buy @ the time and got a kick-a$$ discount :) Plus, luckily I've not seen a commercial.. heh..

I totally want one. I hate to vacuum, but with my bad lungs, getting the dust up is really important. DH actually does all the vacuuming, but even so, I can barely stand to be in the house until everything *settles*, which sort of defeats the purpose of vacuuming, IMO!

My husband has bad asthma and allergies, and even he can vacuum with this one... :) I definitely think it was worth the money, IMHO.

oooh - that is good to hear. I have been eyeing one up.
Leslie - I dont see why it wouldnt help w/ hardwood. :dunno: We have 90% HWFs and I have to vacuum them all the time!

IMO, if the thing can suck up two men's tube socks and keep goin', there's not much it CAN'T do! heh

I've never heard of a Dyson vac :dunno: But I paid $699 for my Oreck last month and love it. I think you should consider one of their's. It is very light and easy to store. :)
