Hi guys - I JUST moved over here. I'm trying out both sites. What do you guys think so far. Cindi, I have been looking for a new "Avon Lady!" Can you send me catalogs/books? Or is that too much hassle?

You can also look on the website for anything you would like...they have everything that the catalog has and then you can order and I can send it to you. I'm still alive! :lol: I took DH there over Christmas for the first time, and he was horrified. My parents live in Las Cruces now, and he thought *that* was boring! He still can't believe I grew up there. But then, neither can I. :)

I couldn't imagine growing up there. I have visited big cities and I can't believe I grew up outside of Albuquerque. :lol: I thought there was nothing to do in Abq. :lol:

Did you guys hear a few years back about a foster mother who's foster child died under her care in NM? Linda Lysaght? The little girl was 3 years old and she had suffocated. She was my ex step mother and wondering if you guys heard anything else about it?

I was looking at hotels thinking maybe we'd come Saturday and leave Sunday and over 1/2 were sold out or over $100 a night. :eek:

Sunday works. That's best. If I come, I can't leave until after work Saturday, which will put me up there around7 on Saturday evening. :) Then as long as I leave by 5 or so on Sunday night, I'm good. :)

Anyway, looks like we'll be getting a car, but in Albq. Not at the expo b/c I really want the Saturn VUE and the deal they have now on a 2004 is unbeatable. I never in a million years thought we'd get a NEW car!

It's not a problem, I never packed any way from last summer and my aunt sent Madelynn more clothes the other day.

I KNOW we'll have sleepers, but not sure about the rest. Honestly, we're just dragging everything out of our garage and seeing what sells! Is there a formal plan? I really don't know how much flexibility I'll have with the yard sale, BUT I live right near the airport. Maybe you all can stop by?

We are busy! I am teaching Vacation Bible School at my friend's church! I don't know how I got talked into that. :awink: :lol: Sixteen 3 and 4 year olds! :eek: I'm working in the nursery there for a little extra money. :up: It was nice to get my first paycheck, even if it was only $40.

I have a job interview on Friday with the State of New Mexico Human Services Division!! :yippee: That's what my degree is in!! I'd be helping people find the services they qualify for.

DH had a job interview in Wyoming about a month ago. We should know in about 2 weeks if he got it or not. If they offer it to him and the pay is right I think we'll probably go. If not, we'll stay here and that leads us to. . .

Madelynn! She is doing well. She really wants to go to school and dance class, so as soon as we find out about this move or not I'm going to start looking. I already have a dance place picked out. It's right near my house.

Ava is doing really good! I can't believe she's almost 1 and a half. She keeps me busy. She's a climber and into EVERYTHING! She gave herself a black eye the other day and I feel so bad about it, but I can't help it. She just gets into stuff like Madelynn never did. I have a feeling she's going to be my wild child. . .
