Did any of you have themes for your children's first birthday parties?

We had a football theme for Anna's first party because she was born during the superbowl. :)

Mackenzie's 1st birthday was strawberry shortcake :)

Nicholas' first b-day party was a Safari Party. He LOVES animals and we just thought it was a cute thing to do.

The kids all got Safari Hats and binoculars and we had a Safari Hunt in the backyard.

Sarah's was Elmo because she loves Elmo!

Samuel's was Elmo too :)

We didn't have a theme for Emily or Harry. Emily had a LaLa (Teletubbie) cake cause she was into them at the time. Harry's 1st Birthday was a joint party for Emily's 3rd so unfortunately he was overlooked a little, she got most of the attention. He had a number 1 cake.

Olivia had Winnie the Pooh

Kalyssa had classic Winnie the Pooh.
Kaden just had bright colors and plates/decorations with a hand drawn baby face in a party hat.
Keira will have light pink with polka dots and lavender. I'm doing a two tiered cake that's pink w/white polka dots too.

Paige's first bday party was Blues Clues I found a couple pic's on the computer..

Catherine's was Sesame Street. I loved planning her little party! :love2:

Jakob's was an Ocean/fish/sea animal theme

We did ladybugs for Janelle...but we didn't do too much cause I was on bedrest. We did rubber ducks for Caids.

I plan on doing a picnic in the park for our friends with a ladybug theme. I've already started planning it and she isn't even 6 months, hah!

Lindsey's was a generc theme of 1st birthday bears.

DR's will be coming up at the end of March and I plan on doing Winnie the Pooh.
