Lynn and I were just talking in her journal about POAS in public places, so I got to wondering... where have you tested?

in a stall in the bathroom of Filene's basement in downtown Boston. :)

With Anna, I tested at home both times.

With Jacob, I just tested once in the wheelchair stall of a department store with Anna there in her stroller. :lol:

Both times at home. I needed DH to be around no matter what the result. :)

Always at home.

I've POAS more times than I am willing to truly admit. Most of the time I was at home but I have POAS at work. I always snuck off into the executive bathroom so that I had some more privacy.

With Jackson I tested at work, it was Scott's birthday and I was meeting him afterwards for dinner and I wanted to be able to tell him the news on his birthday. I thought I had a really faint line, but I wasn't sure, so I considered it a negative. When I actually got my positive test with Jackson I tested in a hotel room - it was the morning before we went on a cruise and I wanted to confirm to see if I could drink or not....

With this one I tested at home, although I was tempted to go in the bathroom at the store where I bought it.

:lol: in a stall at Barnes and Noble (more than once) and then also at work. Almost forgot that one!

At work and home when waiting to get pregnant with Aiden...all at home tests for riley..... and when I found out I was pregnant with Jacob I was in the public toilet stall at the local shopping centre cause I was too scared to let tony know that I suspected I was pregnant... then I spent the next hour doing a food shop fishing the stick out of my bag to confirm there was still a 2nd line there and thinking how the hell I am going to tell tony! :lol:

Only at home. Although, I was supposed to test at Brook's house (she wasn't going to have it any other way :lol: ) but she ended up not having a test so I tested at home the next afternoon.

Brookelyn was a huge surprise, so you can imagine how shocked I was when I tested at work and got a BFP!!! Not expecting that, thought it was the flu!! lol Thank goodness though now, it was a BFP!

At home for Mason and work for Graham. I was expecting a BFN and needed to know for sure to confirm the date for an HSG. Shock of my life, it was a BFP! :)

You don't want to think about that, trust me. :errr: :lol: (chalk it up to pre-holiday and work stress playing games with af's arrival, combined with a wonky stomach that made me suspicious. The witch showed up the day after the Target loo party. :lol: )

At church. I stopped at Walgreens on the way there and couldn't wait until afterwards.

It was Christmas Eve 2004... just under a year after Katie was born. I thought that at least if I did get a BFP, it would let me off the hook for some Christmas shopping.

(I think that was my happiest trip to the mall EVER)

At home and at the Health Services office at the University where I work - nothing like a free pg test :aok:

However....I've been pretty tempted to POAS at the store where they were bought! Although....I've discovered Dollar Tree recently and I REALLY don't want to use the bathrooms there. :lol:

Only at home, but if I was ever desperate enough to need to know right away I would totally test somewhere like Target or Walmart. :nod:

I've tested at work, Target MIL's beach house and the Saavis Center in St Louis during a hockey game :heee:

Nichole - I think I remember you mentioning (very briefly) that you had a PG worry, but that AF showed.

Boring here too.. only at home. Oh well once at my parents house in Indiana (and it was a bfp for Melayna :) )

I totally forgot - for both pregnancies, I tested at my ILs house (both BFP, Ben expected, Katie not)

In a stall at Macy's with a test bought about 5 minutes before at Target. This was with Tatum, my oopsie baby. Like Deb, I didn't want to test at home because I did not want Lee to know I thought I might be pregnant. The other two I tested at home.

I've tested in the bathroom at the mall where I work, at my parents, at home, at Hannaford's (grocery store) among other places lol.

I've POAS at work in the bathroom a couple times and at a McDonalds bathroom.. :lol:

At a girlfriends house once...she didnt know...it was a negative...hopefully her husband didnt find it after I put it in the bin....lol...(just in case he thought it was hers.. :) )
