I have a serious question to ask. I am Mellisa and I have twin girls who are 4 and my husband and I have been trying for the past 3 months. Could I ask a question without offending anyone.

Does a woman need to have a orgasm to concieve?

Nope! But it DOES help make the uterus contract a bit and get the swimmers where they need to go.

If we did, I imagine the world would be a lot less populated...

I read in one of my travels that the female orgasm does aid in conception by the uterus contractions and the uterine mucus becomes thinner helping the swimmers get through. And it makes TTC way more fun!
