All I can say right now is IF Sucks... I wish I had a better way of expressing it but this has been the day....( Beware, complaining and whining ahead... read no furthur for those who don't want to listen to whining)
Starting on Jan 11th our doctor received approval from teh insurance company for our upcoming FET cycle. The Doc then ordered our medicine. The pharmacy called a day later to say that one medicine needed prior authorization so it would be a few extra days but the meds would be delivered as soon as they had teh PA. So I wait... yesterday I called to doupble check that everything was a go (because I need to start teh meds tomorrow morning) and they still had not receive the authorization... so needless to say I got on teh phone yesterday and today with the pharmacy, doctors office and insurance company over and over again... One says one thing and then I call the other and they say they need more info.. etc etc etc.
As if the thought of going back to shots everyday isn't stressful enough... I am worried about helping the insurance company do their job!!!!! By 2:00 this afternoon, nothing was approved.. my DH (who I snapped at.. thank G-d he loves me)called the pharmacy and asked if we could jusy pay for it and then send the bill to the insurance compnay... they said sure.. DH is picking up the meds on his way home from work and then we can deal with the insurance company later... The insurance co. is goingt o wish they dealt with me now... because after a few days with screwed up hormones.. I am not so pleasent!!!
