I was just thinking about some of the TV shows I remember growing up that I haven't thought about in ages...
My Two Dads
Small Wonder (with the robot girl... doesn't get more random than that)
Mr. Belvedere
They should do a "odd TV shows from the 80's" reunion special!

There was one, I forget what it was called, about a girl whose father was actually an alien and talked to her through this cube on her bedside. I think it was on NBC, sometime in the mid-80's.
How about Sledge Hammer (or was it Sledgehammer)? I loved that show.

February 13th, 2004, 11:39 AM
I thought Blossom was cool too! I used to be able to do the flip she would do at the end of the opening credits (the backwards one and the forward one) and I would always have to join her in doing it. Of course, if I tried now, I'd probably hurt myself or at least be sore for several days!
I used to really like Golden Girls, Empty Nest, and Nurses (I think it was called that, it was a spin-off of Empty Nest). I also liked Cheers and The Cosby Show.

I remember "Out of this World" too! The girl's name was Evie I think. She could stop time by putting her fingers together. To this day I have moments where I wish I could just put my fingers together and stop time. Random enough for you?

There use to be a show where Snow White, her prince and their 2 kids woke up to living in the present. I can't remember the name but the prince got a job and they lived in a nice house and they tried to hide who they really were from the neighbors.

Out of this World :aok:
The series revolves around Evie Garland, who is the daughter of Troy and Donna Garland. Troy, however, is an alien from the planet Anterias. As a benefit of her half-alien parentage, Evie develops three powers as the series progresses. She can pause and un-pause time, "gleep" objects into existence, and can transport herself from one place to another. Troy is living on Anterias and is never seen, but Evie talks to him via a crystal cube. Evie is thirteen at the beginning of the series and lives with her mother in Marlowe, California. Visitors to the Garland home include Donna's brother Beano; the mayor Kyle Applegate, a former actor; Lindsey, Evie's best friend; Chris, Evie's boyfriend; and Buzz, who tends to take things literally. Episodes usually revolve around Evie getting herself out of a situation that she has caused.

This is a plea for help!
There is a show I swear I remember as a child, but my sister - who is usually my go-to person on these shared memories - can't recall it. She thinks I'm making it up!
I think it was on Nickelodeon in the early 80s (ah - remember You Can't Do That on Television? !!). It was a drama about twins, a girl and a boy, and I think it was set in Europe. They had the ability to share thoughts without talking, but they had to envision stones dropping to get this power. I think they were trying to solve some mystery or something too, trying to use these powers to get to something.
Anyone????????
