Just curious how long your commute to work is? If in fact you do commute.

Mine is about 45 minutes, depending on traffic.

I voted 15-30 minutes. Mine is just about 30 minutes and that includes dropping the kids off at the sitter's - sometimes it takes longer if I hit the school bus traffic. If I don't have to drop the kids off, then is would only take me 10-15 minutes to get here.

Mine's about 20 minutes in the morning (little traffic since I get here at 7am) and about 30-35 minutes on the way home (5pm traffic  ).

Mine is sometime between 45 mins. and 1 hour. Abby spends time with both grandmas (alternating weeks). If she is with my mother, it is an hour drive for me (sometimes a little more) and if she is with MIL, it is about 45 mins.
Needless to say, we are planning on moving in about a year because we can't stand the commute.

The actual commute is 10 minutes. I drop my son off at daycare (1 block from work) and spend a few minutes there, so I actually give myself 1/2 hour from the time I leave home until the time I have to be at work just in case something goes wrong.

I voted 5-15 minutes. That's drive time. It's probably 20 minutes door to door (I park in a parking garage so there is a little walk).

It takes me about 20 minutes one way. It seems so much longer on the way home, because i am always in a hurry to see DS. I hate to even stop anywhere. I have a one track mind and it is going get DS.

My commute is close to 60 miles one way...best time is 1 hr 15 min...closer to 1 hr 30 mins if traffic is heavier.
Luckily, I only have to commute 3 days a week and since I stay late in the evening the traffic is generally pretty light on the way home.

Very fortunate that my commute is only 3 miles each way and ABbys daycare is RIGHT on the way.

I voted other... We're in the car about 1 hour. Work is half an hour away but the sitter is 45 minutes. Since I'm breastfeeding I usually nurse Nick at the sitters... than we go. Its a 15 minute drive from her place to work. The whole process usually takes 1.5 hours. We live at 6:30 and are at work around 8 am.

It's about 1/2 an hour from the time I leave till the time I arrive at work; this includes dropping Kassidy off at daycare. On days where I don't have to do that, it's about a 15 minute drive.

I voted more than one hour. On most days, commute time (including dropping Julian off at daycare) is about an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and a half. On good traffic days, I might make it in an hour or a little less. On bad traffic days (like if a beer truck flips over on the freeway or two dump trucks run into each other), the sky's the limit. I think the longest my commute has ever taken me has been about two hours and twenty minutes - I seriously considered turning around and going home that morning!

I voted 5 - 15 minutes. It depends on traffic and what route I take but it's rarely more than 15.

Mine is about 45 minutes to an hour in the morning and only about 30-40 minutes in the afternoon. I work reduced hours and leave at 2:30pm so I miss most of the rush hour.

My commute is about an hour door to door. I drop Jack off at school (right across the street), walk to the bus stop around the corner, take the bus to the subway, then take the subway to my stop, and it's about a 5-10 minute walk to my office. It sucks.

Almost an hour each way depending on traffic. If I leave my office at 5:00 then I am at MIL's by six and am usually home by 6:30. In the morning I leave by 7:15 and am here by 8:30 and that is with a stop at the gas station for my morning soda :)

Morning: home to work 15 minutes.
Night: work to daycare 30 minutes. Daycare to home 15 minutes.
Total day: 1 hour. Blah.
It should get better when we buy a new house.
gulp!

Door to door it takes me about an hour. I take the train, so it's a 15 min. walk to my stop, a 15 - 30 min. train ride, and then another 15 min. walk from the downtown stop to my office.
DH walks to work and it takes him 12 minutes. Pfft.

I live 12 miles from work and it takes about 45 minutes each way. And I don't even drop Maya off -- DH does that. So it's 45 minutes from the time I get in my car at home to the time I get out of my car at work.

Mine's a little over 45 minutes. Not bad considering I live about 35 miles from work. DH takes Riley to daycare since the daycare she goes to is affiliated with DH's work. It's nice in that she's 20 feet from his office. But on days he has to go to another building, (which isn't often thank God!) it takes me about an hour and a half.

Wow, I'm jealous of everyone that has a short commute. Mine's 35 to 40 minutes door to parking lot and that's without dropping off my kids. DH does that and I do the pickup.

I can often do it in just about 40 minutes in the morning, a bit longer in the evening...so I voted 45m-1 hour. I REALLY REALLY wish I lived closer. While I like my alone time in the car, I do hate that it takes me that long to get there and back each day...and kills any chance of working out too. I could so use that hour and a half better!!

45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic!
It took me 2 hours once! The traffic around here is horrible. We would move closer but we can't afford to live in the city.

My commute is 12 miles from nowhere to civilization. With dropping Alex off, total is 30 minutes. Same going home.

I voted other...
My driving time is 2 minutes. If I walk it is 10 minutes or so. My kids come to school with me in the morning and then I pick Sarah up after school. That adds 10 minutes. 5 to get her and 5 home.

Mine is 5-15 minutes but that doesn't include bringing the kids to day care. Day care is 1 minute from home but of course it takes me 10 minutes or so to drop both off (2 places). So the commute is actually calculated from day care to work.

Same here! From home to work is about 15 minutes (a little less from work to home, since there is no traffic), but it takes me longer to get to work in the morning since I drop Hayley off at daycare. Her daycare is exactly one mile from our house, and it's directly on the route I take to work, so that makes it really convenient. I usually spend about 10 minutes there with her in the morning, so I leave the house about 30 minutes before I have to be at work.

durn I voted wrong too! it's about a 15 min drive to our house to work, but since gas prices have skyrocketed, DH and I are car-pooling. We take DD to MIl's 3 days a week and she comes and gets her 2 days (we alternate weeks) and it takes us about an hour to do that and get to work. We leave at 6:45ish and he drops me off at about 7:30ish
