Step-Parent Adoption

Next Friday the 16th, my daughter's adoption by my husband (her step-father) will be final. We planned it for the 16th because that is her birthday. She is so excited!
Her bio-father has never shown interest in raising her and my husband loves her like she were his own.

Congratulations Amy (and Rob)! I adopted my stepdaughter and it was final in April! It was a wonderful experience and I'm so grateful that I got to do so.

How Exciting! Its wonderful isnt it! My DH adopted my son 2 yrs ago. I am very happy for you and your family!!! Dont forget the camera! ( The judge we had took pics for every family to commemorate the ocasion )

That's awesome! My Noah's adoption was just finalized last month. It's amazing how much of a relief it is. Now Naomi's is still up in the air, but we're still hopeful. Sorry to turn this into a post about us. I just wanted to explain that I know how exciting it is to feel like everything will finally be settled and legal. Have a wonderful day!
