I never thought this day would come...

So today is the day, after a long 24 months, my husband and I, plus our two kids, are finally moving out of my IL's house into a place of our own!!! :woo: I'm leaving in just a few minutes to go pick up the keys to our new apartment! :ura1:

Our goal is to move a lot of the smaller items today and some boxes, and then on Saturday when we have the truck, we'll move our beds and furniture and dressers.

I don't think anyone in the world would be more excited about moving from a 5 bedroom house, into a two bedroom apartment except for us! :lol: It means that things are finally coming together enough to allow us to actually have the finances to PAY for everything again which is the most exciting thing ever! And it also means that it will just be the four of us under one roof, instead of 9+. :)

My IL's have been very generous and great to us (minus a few odd quirks :awink: ) and we are very thankful that they were there to help us when we both lost our jobs. I don't know what we would have done with out them!

Uh, not so good! :lol: It's snowed all stinkin' day. Isn't that just how things always go?! Of course, we did pick the first day of December as move in date! :lol:

Anyway, we did get one major load of things over there tonight. And we were able to go buy a bunch of stuff to stock the apartment up since we have nothing of our own here (in terms of food, paper products, etc). When we got into the kitchen I sort of drew a blank since I had no idea where things went yet. :crazy: :lol:

Tomorrow is a normal day. I have to work in the afternoon, and the kids are headed to the sitter's. However, on Saturday, we have a few trucks lined up from friends and we'll do the rest of it then.

Thank you all so much for your excitement for us! Just two more nights here!
