My neighborhood women's group is having a Holiday Christmas Caroling Progressive Party on December 9th. :tree:
My house is first on the list at 7 PM and I have no idea what to serve for people that are only coming for 45 minutes to an hour.. or even less!

Originally the idea/theme was to be to share your traditions. We were going to serve Irish Coffees (going along with our last name), but I think that might be too hard. I'd have to set up reg and decaf, whiskey, sugar cubes and cream. Then I was going to do pierogies as part of my tradition, but I'm not sure they'd be easy to eat.

So, here I am asking for ideas!:snowman:
I know that the 2nd house is serving Hot Toddies.

The 3rd and final house is having chili (darn good idea). This is the home of the Women's Club president and she does everything over the top! My neighbor let it slip that she's going to have carolers on her driveway singing for our arrival! :woa:

Anyway, we're definitely having beer and wine, and then I thought Eggnog might be easier to set up than coffee. We're also definitely serving shrimp cocktail.

I need easy appetizer ideas so I don't have to be running back and forth to the kitchen or oven. Any and all ideas are appreciated!

How about a warm dip, like a spinach dip with breads and fresh veggies?
