50,000th Post & Poster?

Believe it or not, we are closing in on the 50,000th post on OUAL. Anyone care to take a guess as to who will make that post, and when? If you are feeling really lucky, anyone want to guess where that post will be?

uh-oh.... I just realized a problem this morning.

The count at the bottom of the page does not include the posts that have been deleted (about 500... mostly birthdays & edds added to lists) but the database does. Essentially, this means that there will be TWO 50,000th posts.

The database 50,000 will be easy to verify, and will be the one that happens first.
The 50,000 post according to the front page #s will be harder to figure out, although I think I will be able to do it.

Which one would you consider the *real* 50,000th post?

(just for reference, the post is #47,618 according to the front page and #48,265 according to the database.)

I say that the winner of the current race to 50,000 is the *real* 50Kth - deleted posts are gone, and so don't count towards the total.
