Does anyone know of any online support groups for a couple mourning their baby that was still born?
I have a friend who is looking for support groups for a coworker and his wife who have just given birth to a little girl that was still born :blue:

How sad for them
The only one I know of is an Australian organisation called Bonnie Babes.

I haven't found any either (in real life or online)...it's pretty rough considering that I just went through it a month ago. If she needs a friend, I may not be able to help much, but I can certainly offer support...
Prayers for her...I know how hard this is....

Oh, and I do know a group--Lost Child in Ohio who does email and phone support--is she somewhere in the area?

:bighug: Ally, I am so sorry for your loss.
They live in the Houston area.
Thanks for the suggestions so far, I will send them on.

This one is run by a woman who lost her daughter at birth. They also have support groups (they used to have a big miscarriage area, but now seem to have lessened it). They offer TONS of resources as well, including for siblings, fathers, grandparents etc

Have you tried Yahoo groups? They have groups for just about everything. I found one for two very unusual medical conditions my daughter has and both were really wonderful for support.

Here's a group that looks both organized & supportive. They have some great information. They have a message board, chats & information among other things. Not sure how close their groups are to the Houston area.

Also, here's an entire page of links from March of Dimes http://www.marchofdimes.com/pnhec/572_4150.asp
The MOD offers free bereavement materials & really good straightforward info.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's co-worker's loss (& most definitely yours, too, Ally :hug99: ).
