Our anniversary is next week. Is it in bad taste to get DH something that we both enjoy or should it be something personal just for him?
I have no idea what to get. I checked the gift list for anniversaries and for 4 years it lists flowers/plants or appliances. Neither of those ideas floats my boat.
Help please!

How about a camping stove?
A new tree for your property (a flowering tree, like an apple or pear?)
A new electric razor? (not so romantic  )
And heck no it's not bad to get something you'll both enjoy. Win-win! :)

I think it's okay if that's what you both are doing, or you are deciding together to get something for both of you. I think it would be bad if he gives you something just for you (like jewelry or something) and you give him somethig for both of you.

When you get to be married for a long time like me...
...gifts that you both enjoy are the best kind!
Heck, you can try it out this year and if he voices any displeasure, then you'll know better next year!
Do you have anything in mind? ie.. fancy restaurant gift certificate, etc?

Actually I was thinking a nice, expensive, high thread-count set of sheets! But I doubt he would see it that way.
I'm also thinking of getting him a new soft-side golf cooler with a few golf things in it.
