Do you put socks on under these? Michael seemed to have a ring around his ankle from the elastic, is this normal?

Isabella's do that too. I haven't been putting them on her. I'm thinking that's a sign they are too small.

She also has really wide little flintstone feet. Actually, according to Stride Rite, she should be in extra wide shoes.

Well, they are not too small because they are 12-18mths, and not small in the foot part.

My kids have scrawny ankles and tiny feet though. Kincaid is about a size 4.5 I guess and Janelle is a 5.

Aaron still gets the ring too. I've found that Bobux are a little bit looser around the ankles. I ended up taking the elastic out and rethreading some newer elastic in (using a teeny safety pin as a guide through the leather) the ankle and it solved the problem immediately. :up:

I use socks too, but really thin ones. Great idea on replacing the elastic Lynn!!

Mason had that but he has big ankles. I put them on his bare feet all the time. He never indicated they were too tight. He never pulled or poked at them.

Logan and Connor get marks, but they've never complained. I only do socks when it is cold out or when Connor uses them as ballet slippers (he needs socks on when he changes to tap shoes halfway through class and it is just easier if his socks are already on!

We ALWAYS did socks under them. Ick. I cant imagine not. They'd get too funky for my tastes :lol:
Lynn is right...Bobux are a bit more loose in the ankle.

:nod: They wash really well. I usually put socks on her with them. I haven't had any problem with they ankles though when she is sockless.

Oh I know. I've washed them plenty. But I still think of how my feet get in leather shoes w/o socks :errr: Just skeeves me. :lol: I'm a sock person :lol:

I do socks in the winter, but no socks in the summer. They don't get icky in the summer with no socks, but Heather doesn't walk yet.

I've heard Bobux don't stay on as well either, so if that's something that's important, then be careful.
