I really like Gabriella "Ella" but Roger has now decided that he doesnt know if he likes that...plus as I said, I also really like "A" names.
Oh and her middle name would be McCall :)

Wendy February 6th, 2004, 10:18 AM Just so you know what I am dealing with:
I love the name Ashlyn- Roger on the other hand tells me there is some porn star by that name and that is what he thinks of when he hears that name.
Ameila- LOVE IT!- Roger and his faternity brothers nick named one of their little sisters Ameila because she had big boobs and they thought that maybe Amelia Earheart was lost in them.
Analeise- LOVE IT! Roger- NO WAY! Sounds too much like "anal ease":wtf:
He does like Alexis and while I do like it I am not sold on it yet. :)
Michele February 6th, 2004, 06:29 PM I love A names too for some reason...
If Jackson had been a girl he was going to be Anna, Ainsley or Ava...
A little girl I used to baby sit for was named Ana (pronounced Ah-na) I liked that a lot too but didn't want to copy!
Leslie February 6th, 2004, 07:16 PM If Ian was a girl, his name would have been Audrey. I love that name.

JillMelissa February 6th, 2004, 11:55 PM Roger has some issues! That Amelia thing is too funny. Every single one of his reasongs for ruling out a name sounds exactly like something my DH would say... :)
Bev February 8th, 2004, 02:56 PM This is the selection I gave Nicole Adney for her little one. She is looking at A names too. Lots of names have already been suggested. Here are some more, probably some repeats on here. http://www.ultimatebaby.com/images/smilies/smile.gif
Adanna (means father's daughter if meanings are important to you.)
Adrienne/Adriana
Ailsa
Alana/Alanna
Alexandra
Alice
Alison
Allegra
Alwynn (pron All-win. I think this is really pretty. I know (of) two IRL. I don't think my DH would go for it though.)
Amira
Araminta
Audrey
Avalon/Ava
Aaron
Abbott
Adam
Adrian
Alan/Allan/Allen
Alexander
Andrew
Archer (I like this one)
Atticus

AmyP February 9th, 2004, 02:09 PM I was going to suggest "Amy" but I guess that's already been done.
Some of these are duplicates, but here you go:
Adriana
Angela
Ann/Anne
Amanda
Andrea
Ashley/Ashlee/Ashleigh
Alison/Allison
Alaina
Mandi February 9th, 2004, 04:58 PM Well Amanda has already been suggested. It's a good name (my given name  )
Both girls were almost named Arianna.
Karly February 9th, 2004, 06:23 PM My baby girl will be Alexis. :)
And, I have to second, third, fourth Audrey. If we have a second girl, most likely she'll be Audrey.
Marcella February 9th, 2004, 08:44 PM Another vote for Audrey! :aok: Amelia was almost Audrey, and I bet if we have another girl, she'll be Audrey!
AmyP February 10th, 2004, 10:33 AM Anya is a good name too! (or maybe I've been watching too much of Buffy lately)
Eva February 10th, 2004, 04:12 PM I am suprise no one mentioned Abigail. My favorite is Allison. DD was almost named that. Maybe baby #2 if it is a girl.
Hilary February 10th, 2004, 04:23 PM I am suprise no one mentioned Abigail.
I think that's because the original poster's daughter's name is Abigail. :)
Eva February 10th, 2004, 05:18 PM I think that's because the original poster's daughter's name is Abigail. :)
That makes sense.
AahRee February 12th, 2004, 11:45 PM A variation of Alexis is Alexa, and I think that Alexa McCall lastname sounds really nice!
AahRee February 12th, 2004, 11:46 PM And no one has said my name: Annemarie. But Annemarie McCall is a little stutter-ish, IMO.
Dawn February 13th, 2004, 10:05 AM A variation of Alexis is Alexa, and I think that Alexa McCall lastname sounds really nice! :up:Another variation is Alexia.....my personal favorite! ;)

I just wanted to point out that my name is not pronounced like Alicia.
Its Uh-liss-e-uh. Yet another variation for you!
Brandi February 27th, 2004, 02:58 PM Not sure if anyone mentioned Alora!
MY absolute favorite is - Autumn! We are considering it for a middle name for a girl. We are also considering Annemarie or Annamarie for a middle name!
Tracey February 27th, 2004, 03:15 PM I really like Annalise
