When Owen was born he was given a gift certificate to Gymboree from the hospital. We get 6 free classes, and I'm thinking about signing up for the entire session. I'm just not sure which class to take.
We can do:
Gymboree or maybe family Gymboree and include Riley. I have to call first since we have free classes. They may not allow her to go on the free classes
Music or maybe family music and include Riley. Another one to call about
Baby Signs
Mommy and Baby Fitness

They particularly may not include her in the Gymboree classes is for safety reasons; they're worried about active big kids accidentally stepping on the babies! (when I took Caroline to Gymboree, they used to make siblings sit in the little lobby area :blue: ) So maybe it will be less of an issue if you do the music. Alternatively, the Mommy & Baby fitness sounds fun! :)

Yes, they do have a class now that included all kids in the family (all ages) in the gym class. If you do want to include both kids that would be a great idea. The only thing I can see is that since it is the whole family now I am thinking it won't be a geared towards Owen's age and he won't get as much out of it. So I guess its a trade off either way.
We always do the normal gymbo class and then one other. Lauren LOVES her gymbo class so much!!! We have done music, I liked it but I won't do it again. We *might* do family music this winter... depends.
Baby signs would be interesting but probably not as *fun* for Riley and since you are going for six classes you can do something fun that will expend some energy.
I am trying to decide between Mommy and Me fitness and Yoga for Lauren for her second class this fall. Leaning towards Mommy and Me Fitness.
Since it is your first time it might be good to just do the traditional gymbo class.. and oldie but a goodie!!

I could not imagine life without the Gymboree play class. :ura1: Christopher loves Gymbo time. Nothing gets his attention like bubbles and the parachute. I couldn't get through the day if he didn't wear himself out on the play gym equipment. :yippee:
