Does anyone in here buy Baby Lulu clothes ever? I'm always looking for a good deal on their stuff. I love all of their lines and colors and prints. Where do you shop for your baby lulu??

I love Baby Lulu. I bought an outfit from each of the new fall lines for the girls this year- Jasmine, Fall Peony and Flower Bonnet, as well as a dress from the special cut of Ribbon Rose for Abby and a coordinating dress from eBay for Addy. We also have an outfit from Autumn Leaves and one from Cabbage Rose for each girl for this fall! Can't wait for it to cool down!!
I usually buy from forgetmenotkids.com or eBay, we have a boutique store nearby that carries it but their selection is always sparse!

I love their stuff, but cant afford it new, so always buy it second hand :)

I have alot of Baby Lulu...some of which I might be willing to part with. Since I'm still fairly new can you both tell me your kids' ages or sizes... I could let you know when I'm going through Brookelyn's closet! :)

I love Baby Lulu, too, and I've bought it at Nordies on occasion, but I usually get it on ebay. :) I won't pay boutique prices for it, but it IS adorable! (I SO need a real job! :lol2: )

Dori, both my girls have those pants from Jasmine!! They are too cute! Abby got the shirt with the kitty on the front and Addy has *the* dress with the chenille at the bottom, love it!!

Abby is in a 4 and Addy is in 18-24 months.

Nicole Addy is just behind Brookelyn. She is just barely getting out of 18-24 months (some she can still wear, mostly shirts only the pants are too short). Do you find Baby Lulu to run small? Sometimes I do and sometimes I don't its weird. Some of their dresses I think run really big, but the pants seem to always be to short if I go with the smaller size. I'll remember you when I go through Brookelyns closet! I have a few things that Addy could probably wear, I'll have to look though because they're probably all real summery.

I love those outfits Dori!! I haven't preordered anything yet (shame on me). I need to though, this week! Between Janie and Jack and Baby Lulu DH is not gonna be allowed to see the bank statement LOL!!

Ugh - I find that their sizing runs SMALL!!!! Norah is in 18-24 right now. I have a 2T dress w/ leggings for this fall.....the dress is kinda long, but the leggings are a good length. And then we have a size 3 2pc outfit, and the shirt will surely fit her this winter, but the pants may need to be rolled over once, but should fit her eventually.
Last summer, she was in a 3-6m and later, 6-9m, but she had some Lulu bubbles and another outfit (that I sold Nicole, actually), that were 9m and 12m and ran so freakin' small!
So I always buy big.
Whew. Lots of babbling.

I haven't bought any Baby Lulu yet for Ahna (waiting until she can at least sit up) but I think it tends to be true with a lot of boutique brands (and almost universally true on European stuff) that everything runs small. I tend to size up on everything I've bought for Caleb and also have on the stuff I've bought so far for Ahna.

I Love this outfit. Gorgoeous :love: I haven't bought anything from Baby Lulu. I have tried to buy a couple of outfits on ebay but always get outbid. :( I am pretty picky about some of the patterns though. I love some and others find to busy.

Crap, well I bought 2T. Maybe they will work since she is a peanut. If not, I wonder if they would let me change my preorder size?? Surely they would...

Dori IMO if you just got your daughter out of gymbo 18-24 mths then a 2T BL is probly ok! Thats about how we are with Brookelyn right now, 18-24 still fits, but 2T will fit longer and is easier to buy right now

Dori, they'll let you change the preorder stuff if the Jasmine doesn't fit. If you get the Jasmine and it doesn't fit you only have 14 days to exchange. But I've found that most of their stuff doesn't run super small, the leggins are shorter than Gymbo's but that's about all I've found to be an issue and I have BIG kiddos!

Yeah - the leggings are shorter. This is a 2T outfit and I didnt have to roll the leggings over or anything. The dress will likely fit her for awhile, and the leggings were long, but not overly big, IYKWIM
Normally, she wears 18-24 in Gymbo and I have to roll some of the waistbands on leggings over b/c she is slim.

Question: How does Baby Lulu run? I am watching an item on ebay. Emma wears 18-24 months in other brands like gymbo. I am watching 2T since I remember someone mentioning that they run a bit small. IS that true? Will 2T work?

They do tend to run a bit small, not super small. A 2T should work if she normally wears an 18-24.

I agree...Janelle was very much in 12-18 months last winter/spring but I couldn't find the dress I decided that I NEEDED any smaller than 2t...it was slightly big, but definitely not to big. She is in 18-24 for dresses (like gymbo, etc) right now and the 2t baby lulu dress is slightly smaller than most of her other dresses.

I really like hanna andersson but the playdresses have buttons on the front and I didn't want my daughter bitting them, so I found baby lulu, and I just bought a chenille T-dress with matching leggins from the Cosmo (Cruise 2005) collection. I bought them from trenditykes but I also found an ebay seller with very nice prices (I was outbid though). anywhere else I can find baby lulu stuff? (especially at a nice price)

People are so bizarre about the boy/girl thing with kids! I had Ahna dressed in blue the other day and I think people thought I was cross dressing her. Hello??? Girls are not required by law to wear pink every stupid day. Nocona has big problems with everyone thinking Sara is a boy too. I don't get it? I think if you carried a neon sign with a flashing arrow that reads GIRL! GIRL! GIRL! people would still comment on "the cute little boy."

Mama, there's lots of websites that sell LuLu but I think the best deals in general are still on ebay - unless you are insistent on only NWT or current lines.

Alyson, haven't seen the Cruise line yet. I need to check it out. I haven't bought tons of LuLu yet... I'd made myself hold off a bit until she could sit up and stuff... but now look out! The guy who owns the store lives here and is from France. It is soo cute and I buy almost everything they've got it seems. They don't change lines every ten seconds like American stores, so it's not hard to get the entire line. Actually, people in Europe is as big online as in the US with the only exception of buying clothes online. I'm from Europe and I don't like ordering online, I like to see how it fits and see the fabric, etc., etc. before buying, so that maybe why they don't sell online, we (mostly) don't like to buy clothes online.

Now that I live in the US I've bought online 5 or 6 times, all within the last year and mostly hanna andersson (now that I'm familiar wit the fit and the quality) and 1 baby lulu, but I still rather drive to the store and buy there than buy online (except for the bbll the other things were items that they didn't have the size or the color I wanted on the store).

You can say we are weird, but clothes is one thing you kind of need to try on, even for kids.

Got my first baby lulu. Cosmo t dress and leggings from the cruise 2005 catalog. My husband likes it a lot and I do too. Size is a little in the small side but is o.k. for my 1 year old (I ordered 24 months bc I want her to use it in the spring, when she is 18 months, and it looks o.k.)

I just ordered a couple of things from the forget me not kids baby lulu sale. They are from past seasons but I like the prints, so I got morning glory leggins and tropic chenille t dress for next year.

I really like the may garden print and the apple blossom though. Well, they'll go on sale eventually.

Nicole the girls look so cute! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the jasmine!!! We only have 1 outfit and I'm off to get more today!:) Cabbage rose is super cute too though!... Brookelyn had quite a few things last year from that line (and I sold them for a bunch on ebay:)!!!). Addy will probly be able to wear that dress for a long time! That's great:)!

Oooooh. I ordered the 2pc set (ruffle pants and sl tee shirt) ad the ls tee from the wild rose line from trenditikes. I can't wait (those colors usually look great on my daugther). I was totally determined not to buy anything else for a while, but I really didn't want it to sold out. I've been trying to get some jasmine things and they are not available anymore, so I bought these things just in case they don't last long.

My friend was just telling me that a store near us (that we go to very often;) ) has a ton of Jasmine stuff. I might be going there on Wed or Fri, if you'd like PM me and I could pick up a few things for you.

The pants were what sold me on the line Alyson :lol: I had to have them! They are TDF!! The fall lines from this year sold really quickly!!

Today I received my wild roses stuff. And it is very cute, but the pants of the 2 piece set may not fit my daugther. The tee I'll keep but I may have to end up passing he pants on to someone. We'll see. She'll try them on tomorrow.

They are tight. So, I washed them (I washed them before she tried them on, so now I washed them again to give them away, or maybe sell them) ad put the away. the t is very cute and fits, so I'll keep that. Also I received my jasmine 2 piece (I bought it big to use it next fall) and it looks beautiful. The fabric is super nice (like the cosmo line, which I like much better than the wild rose, not the print, the texture) ad the pants have a looser fit (which I like).

Overall I am extremely happy with the Cosmo, jasmine, and morning glory stuff. Very happy with the wild rose (specially because the print is so awesome). And I didn't like the tropic line (but fortunately I was able to return it, even though I have yet to receive my credit back or whatever).

Mama- Just curious.. what size does your daughter wear? And what size Baby Lulu do you buy her?

Hey Alyson, keep your eyes peeled for me if you go anywhere this weekend. I'd be looking for summer stuff, probably two piece or swing dress type stuff. Ahna's official size 12-18 but in Lulu 18-24. I think you've got my numbers. :biggrin:

I have a dress from the hydrangea line. It's a 12 month but ran big and would probly fit Ahna.. I'm trying to decide what to sell it for cause I bought it full price:)!.. If you want a pic, let me know!:)

She wears 24 months, sometimes 2T. But I've been buying 3T for next year lately. Anyway, I bought the 2 piece set on a 2T (she has a Cosmo chenille dress and matching leggings on a 24 months and are o.k., so I bought the 2T). The pants are too tight but the t-shirt is fine. (She is tall so the pants around the thights are tight, but lengthwise good), and also the stretch-flared look doesn't look great. She is just 14 months, but she is between an 80 and a 90 (hanna andersson sizing, if that helps). So she still looks more like a baby than a little girl, and that look is a little weird.

Anyway, I got the jasine set on a 3T and I love the print, so I would like to get a 4T t-shirt for my niece.

I have to say that I made the same mistake with the tea collection kenji pants (the ones with the dragon) and I bought a 2T ad they are too tight around the waist. So I don't know what to do with those either, because I adore them.

Oh! I forgot! Some things are much cheaper now at FMNK, but I bought the tropic dress 3 weeks ago for $34 and it was $42 now (and it looks like they sold it like candy).

Here is our first baby Lulu outfits from ebay. It is a 2T. I think next time I will size up a bit it runs smaller than i thought. Not as much growing room as I hoped. Don't mind the headband. It is probably lopsided. :blush: I am not big into hairbands even though i love bows. The woman threw inthe headband in for free though. :)

Eva the dress looks great!! Their stuff does tend to run quite a bit small.. normal stuff I buy a 2T for Brookelyn and its a bit big.. but Baby Lulu I buy her 3T's....and they fit great (except the waist is always huge..oneverything on her). She looks cute with the headband too!! Good buy!:)

I am watching a ton of Lulu on ebay and I'm looking at 24 mo for this summer - sound OK? I know it runs small (although she does fit into some 12 mo stuff right now). For summer normally I'd be getting her 18 mo. stuff.
