Well, I have to admit that my daughter would love a getup like that. But there's no way in hell I would allow her out of the house in it. Well, I wouldn't buy it in the first place. That's um... somethin' alright.

Wow that's pretty fugly. :errr: But what's more disturbing to me is the amt. of make-up that little girl has on.

no way, no way, no way!! Geesh! :disbelief:

I don't know which is worse. The outfit or the fact that the seller wants more than $1 for it. :lol:I know we didn't want to make this a pageant debate, so I hope this doesn't incite that...but I pulled up some other costumes for pageants just to see if this was a high price...and actually there were some much, much higher...like this one...$900. :owow: And if you read the sellers notes, she says it's "easily a $1500" dress. ohh my, how does that even look good???

Nichole
August 12th, 2005, 05:27 PM
That first outfit is really bad; who wants their young daughter to look like a hoochie? :dead: And the second one is just ugly and too frilly. I find the amount of makeup and hairspray on both of the girls more disturbing than their outfits, though. Just wrong.

Amy
August 12th, 2005, 05:41 PM
ummmm....NO FREAKING WAY would either of my girls be done up in either of those fugly costumes, much less the makeup and hairspray used on them.

and to think DH was upset when I painted Emily's toenails earlier this summer. He would have a stroke if I even showed him those pictures. :disbelief:

That second pic looks like that little girl who died a while back ... JonBonet? (sp?)
I personally would let my child wear the second outfit for fun (hallowe'en perhaps) but what is that other one?!? I don't get the strawberry connection?
Too much makeup either way though ...

Clare
August 12th, 2005, 08:11 PM
:disbelief

Aidan's going to look cute as a strawberry though :lol2:

Mary
August 12th, 2005, 08:41 PM
I can't imagine any child wearing that first one and not looking like Happy Hooker Jr. The second one, while I am amazed it is that expensive, I could see for Halloween.

Lissa
August 12th, 2005, 11:33 PM
Oh, my goodness! I agree with Mary, the first outfit looks like she'd be a happy hooker! But also, Mandi and Nichole are on target -- the amount of makeup and hairspray they have!!! Oh, my!!

Alyson
August 18th, 2005, 12:18 AM
That is soo sad!! Poor little girl has on more makeup than I've ever worn in my life! My daughter wouldn't be caught dead or alive in or out of the house in that thing! And the second one... ok.. I can justify spending even 100 on a dress for a special occasion, but 1500??? Thats just silly, when the most she'd probly win in that pageant is a plastic trophy! YUCK!!!!
