View Full Version : Babystyle
Bridget July 19th, 2005, 01:52 AM Do any of you shop from the Babystyle catalog or online? I've gotten a lot of cute things from there, including some adorable sets for my DS. I also got him a "leather" club chair and ottoman that he drags all over the house to watch TV. They have a lot of discount codes (none right now, but I frequently get them) that I can post if anyone is interested. :5pounds:
Brandi July 19th, 2005, 10:56 AM I love their styles for girls, but I've never bought them. I think they are pretty expensive - I like a deeper discount than I find there. I love their maternity clothes too, but again, I never got anything from them.
Bridget July 19th, 2005, 11:02 AM Luckily my mom buys a lot of it for me! :1pound:
gulp! July 19th, 2005, 11:15 AM LOVE their stuff, don't love the prices. Sometimes I can snag something off the Outlet, though. Discount codes would definitely fuel this interest!
Trish July 19th, 2005, 11:27 AM LOVE their stuff, don't love the prices. Sometimes I can snag something off the Outlet, though. Discount codes would definitely fuel this interest! :nod:Ditto!
Karri July 19th, 2005, 04:17 PM ditto to what stef said --love it, but not the price!
Lyndee July 19th, 2005, 05:59 PM I bought a bunch of maternity stuff from them. I like the kid clothes but not enough to pay a lot.
Bonnie July 20th, 2005, 12:25 AM I bought a bunch of maternity stuff from them. I like the kid clothes but not enough to pay a lot.
Same here... I have bought a few baby things when they were marked way down and received a few cute gifts from the baby line, but it tends to be a little to $$$. I loved some of the maternity though!
JustJen July 20th, 2005, 02:02 AM Miss Bridget...I love getting these catalogs and always mark things I intend to buy. But then Gymboree sucks up all my kids spending budget and I never buy anything there.
If I could control myself at Gymbo...I might get something...Someday....
Bridget July 20th, 2005, 08:14 AM That's why I'm a shopping freak - I buy stuff everywhere (although not much is as fun as Gymbo). Luckily, my mom is the Queen of al Shoppers and she'll end up buying some of the fancier stuff I drool over but don't buy myself. I do love BabyStyle's outlet and if you watch it you can get some nice things - although up until now I've bought entirely boys clothing from there.
Cortney July 20th, 2005, 12:29 PM I love babystyle for maternity. Their clothes fit me perfectly! I've never ordered anything else from there though.
Kath July 20th, 2005, 02:14 PM I had some credit for things I had to return and bought my diaper bag from Babystyle, which was GREAT b/c I was having a hard time explaining why I NEEDED a $130 diaper bag to DH. Men...they just don't get it! ;) I do love some of their clothing styles though and look at the outlet alot.
Bridget July 20th, 2005, 02:44 PM With my son I bought the $200 (or maybe $150... can't remember) Petunia Picklebottom Red Satin Chinese diaper bag. Looked gorgeous except the designers had obviously never had a baby because the velcro closure was so flimsy and weak it always flopped open. Everyone else I've seen with one of those had the same problem. Looks cool though! I guess you have to pay extra for a bag that will stay closed.

I loved the look of the PPB bags they sell, but I figured I'd ruin the nice fabric within a week! I bought the Fleurville MS and love it so far....although its still not the perfect bag. I don't think there is such a thing for me. ;)
Bridget July 20th, 2005, 03:01 PM Do you have a picture of it? I always like looking at diaper bags. I have a thing for totebags of any kind. I didn't ruin the fabric on mine (except for a few minor snags) but it was inconvenient because you couldn't easily throw it over your shoulder without pinning it shut. Safety pins and an infant are not a great combo.
Kath July 20th, 2005, 03:52 PM Here's the MS i have in pale blue.....

I haven't actually taken any pictures of it all packed up and organized (its never really organized! ) Its a good thing that my clothing addiction has overshadowed my diaper bag addiction b/c the bags were much more expensive!!
Bridget July 20th, 2005, 11:41 PM I thought I'd heard of that bag... I was just looking at this bag a few weeks ago. Here's the one I mentioned - looks like they haven't changed it, but they have newer models they seem to have improved.

Bridget August 18th, 2005, 12:30 AM I know most of you aren't into BabyStyle but I'm posting some of my favorites from the new catalog anyway.
Their website isn't great for pulling down pics...

There is a cute sweater that goes with this skirt, but it's only got this teeny tiny pic...??? I think they need to work out some of the kinks between their catalog and online. Oh well, my daughter is a little young for this crunchy skirt anyway.
Eva August 18th, 2005, 12:40 AM I love the look of their things but unfortunately ( or I guess fortunately for my credit card) they don't ship to Canada. :(
I love this:

Sandy August 19th, 2005, 01:40 PM Like everyone else, love the clothes, but have sticker shock. How cute to put those leggings w/ that dress!!!!
