What's the difference between the two? I can see that the Halo is sleeveless, and that it comes in more sizes whereas the Carters is long sleeve and only one size 0-9.

What is your experience with both? (Costco has the Carters on sale for $6.50)

We had the halo one. I loved it. I don't know the difference between it and Carters. But I highly recommend it.
I'm actually getting rid of ours at my garage sale on Friday.

I have used neither, but I know the Halo comes in fleece and in cotton, great for winter and summer. The sleep sacks in Europe usually don't have sleeves and sometimes I wonder if the child gets too hot with the sacks with sleeves, especially in a fleece one in summer.

I guess, I haven't been much help. If it wasn't for sleep sacks, my kid would be uncovered all night. Unfortunately they don't come in a size 10.

We had several carters ones for Alex. I put a onsie on underneath and he was nice and toasty at night. Loved them!

I have both. Actually, all THREE if you want to talk about the fleece halo, the cotton halo, and the carters fleece.

I like them all for different reasons. In the cold New England winter I'd put Josiah in the carters one. I think it was warmer with the long sleeves. But it runs smaller than the medium size halo and he grew out of it much sooner.

Now in the summer time here in VA I put my 7.5 month old Nicholas in the cotton halo, size medium. He'll be able to wear it for a while, and we have some fleece halos he can wear when the weather gets colder.

Hope that helps.

On the halo one that I have, the zipper runs down, and I think that was the difference

We had both (all 3 --cotton and fleece halos and carters fleece). The Carters ones were HUGE and they couldnt wear them right away (0 mos, my butt! ) . but they all serves a purpose w/ the fluctuating weather here.
