I am going to start putting bows/hair clips in my dd's hair, but haven't seen too many great ones. Gymboree has some nice ones. I was going to also look on ebay. Any suggestions?

By some recommendations, I purchased a bunch of headband bows from sassy*bows (seller) on ebay. I'm pretty sure that's her username. I am really happy with the bows and we've gotten lots of compliments. I purchased them for both my girls....one in large and one in the smaller in matching colors so my girls can match. I have the baby wear the smaller one and Alexia wears the larger ones... I will probably be ordering even more colors from her as well. As I found recently that I wish I had red for them. :lol: Oh, and unlike some probs people had with slow shipping on some, I got them in a week. :)

Please do..I have thought about them for my daughter Alyssa who is just a few months older then Alexia but I am not sure how they will look on the older ones that have so much hair.

Ok Jayne, here's some pics. They are not the greatest (Alexia's hair looks like crap due to high humidity and very curly hair), and when she wears more of the bows I'll post more pics if you want. They really are adorable....

No place specific :lol: I've gotten quite a bit from Gymboree when they go on clearance. I like the plastic barettes from there. For others, I've bought bows from Stride Rite and local boutiques. They are typically WAHM-made, and they've contracted to sell them there. I like to buy the alligator clip ones. I've bought a few from a seller off GH, and been very pleased --she made me MTM Gymbo ones. And finally, I made a bunch myself, back when I had time and supplies. Not hard to do w/ some ribbon, and alligator clip, and a hot glue gun.

I buy ones at gymboree that match outfits. (actually I'm waiting on some bp hair clips along with a bp purse, had scarf thing and some minature golf stuff right now, as soon as the package comes we are going on vacation...how pathetic is that???) Other than that I've had shannon make us some to match certain things, and janelle picks out hair clips evertime we enter a store like claires...plus I'll choose an outfit for pictures out of her closet than search every where untill I find some hairclips that look good with it.
