For the past week, Ethan has been extremely clumsy. He is constantly falling over himself, tripping on everything and just so accident prone. He wore shorts yesterday and his knees are an awful mess from all the tripping on pavement.

Is this common for this age? It's kind of pitiful he keeps getting hurt but he's totally fine otherwise.

I don't know if this is normal. Saxon is about the same amount of clumsiness as always. Maybe he grew and isn't used to his body??? I hope he doesn't get hurt while he is in this stage.

It's not possible that he has an EI is it? I know the EI's can throw off equilibrium. Maybe that's why he's so clumsy? :dunno:

I think I remember someone saying that when their shoes get too small, they start falling down more. I dunno - just an idea!

I agree with Mandy, it could be an ear infection. Also, Katie is going through a phase where she falls down on purpose. Don't ask me why, but she thinks its funny.

He could also be going through a growth spurt and isn't used to his arms and legs. Lastly, have you had his eyesight checked?

It went away soon after I posted...odd. He hasn't grown, I'm quite sure he didn't have an EI, he just gotten his shoes a month before and still fit the same. If the problem persisted, I probably would of gotten him checked out but he seems aok now. Must of just had some off days or something.
