Does any other child have a monster in the closet?
Aidan does. And the monster is moving into Colin's room since Colin hears Aidan talking about his monster, Colin's gotta have one too. (But Colin drops it quickly.)
I'm quite certain this is just a diversionary tactic, but it's a really good one. Aidan doesn't cry or really act scared. He tells us elaborate takes of where the monster came from, where he goes once we banish him, how the other monsters will come into his room as soon as we leave, what the monster eats, etc. Again...no fear...just a lot of detail. Every time we try to leave the room he pulls us back in to tell us one more thing about what the monster is doing, or he ends up leaving to come and give us the update.
I'm not sure how to put a stop to this. :dunno: (I haven't tried to read up on it at all yet but I plan to - if needed - after I ask you all. :) )
