I swear to god, the ebay gods are out to get me....Here's the deal. I sold a stroller and took it to UPS to be shipped. Well, the ebay UPS shippping calculator quoted me $27. When I got to the UPS store, they wanted $60!!! Frankly, I didn't have the difference. So I sent it via USPS. Yeah, I know, dumba$$ me.

Well, the buyer still doesn't have her stroller:( I'm worried. I'm also wary as now the buyer is saying,"Well, I hope it's like you described and so on". I've worked in retail before and she sounds like someone who is expecting perfection at a low,low cost. It's certainly a nice stroller and she got one hell of a deal...Also, in the desciption I wrote "I was able to attach my Graco carseat." Well, *after* the buyer paid with Buy It Now, she was full of questions about whether or not the stroller could really take the carseat. It almost seems like she bought now and thought later.

I do want the customer to be happy. The problem is, she can say ,"Oh, I never got the stroller"..even if she did....Should I just refund her money???? Argghhh..this fails...

I'm a total Ebay novice...but I thought if the buyer didn't buy insurance then it was her loss if she didn't receive the item.

here's where it get sticky-the shipping was calculated in the auction using UPS-the cost includes insurance. The USPS said it would take about 5 days.....and that was on Saturday(that it should have arrived). I know I should have just paid the extra money, but I didn't have it at the time and the buyer was pressuring me for her item....Also, when i was at the post office-Isabella and Manmdy were screaming their heads off and the goal was to get out of there asap! That's why I didn't think to get insurance:( The way she is going on about the condition of the stroller as well as whether it can take a carseat does make me think she has a bit of buiyer's remorse. She did buy it now and the bin was dirt cheap. I don't know. I just have a feeling that once she gets it it's going to be "I don't like it..." and so on...
Kim-Honestly, once I have to sell another stroller-I'll do it on strollerswap....

If you sent it UPS, why can't you track the shipment to determine who signed for it?

She sent it via USPS, not UPS.
