Half Millionth Post

Wow, we are closing in on 500,000 posts. Officially getting to the point where we are considered a big board. I'm happy that we can be considered big and still feel so small and homey. :)

To celebrate the half millionth post, the lucky poster will recieve:

3 months added to their subscription
Their name appearing in the color of their choice for 3 months*
Stars next to their name for 3 months... or changing the subscriber stars to a different image (we'll figure something out)

To calculate which post is the official half millionth post, we will be going by the post number at the top of the screen and not the number at the bottom of the front page. (It is too hard to match up the number on the front page with the post number at the top).

He has. And he can do it. But getting a hold of Stagg for something like that is a bit of a challenge these days, as he hasn't been getting home from work until 9-10 and then working again after a quick dinner.

Besides, I like the both the instant gratification of knowing which post is THE ONE right away and having it show up at the top as the 500000 post is sort of nice... I think it loses something when the 500,000th post is listed as post #508637.

Yes, I actually do go back to bed for a couple more hours until 7 am (when she wakes up for the morning). We have her in the spare room (computer room) until she sleeps thru the night, so sometimes she has trouble settling so I go on here to pass time away to be sure she's 'out' before I go back to bed (there's nothing like my head hitting the pillow only to get up like 3 min. later cuz she got up, her binky fell out, etc. )

We watched the Contender last night (the live fight at Caesars Palace) and we made popcorn for the event. That was about 8:30 pm. Our wattage must be really high cuz we cooked it 45 seconds less than what it said to, and it burned SO BAD!!!!

So, I got up twice in the middle of the night when Angelina got up, one of the times being at 4:30 am and it still smelled so stinky in the house! That's why I posted that. I wasn't eating popcorn at 4:30 am....just that the odor was lingering around everywhere from 8 hrs. prior. :dead: I posted a question to help resolve the problem in the "Life Around the HOuse' forum. :lol: Thanks for your concern Lynn and Melissa!! :popcorn: :lol:

:nod: Alexia was like that too....I BF her much longer than I did Angelina. She would just wake and it was moreso a comfort thing...not a hunger thing at all.

Angelina's the same way...but with the bottle. I'm still feeding her the one time for now, when she wakes up around 1 am. But when she wakes up at 3 or 4 am, there's no need! When I'm ready I'll take away the one feeding, but for now I'm working on getting her to sleep/nap better. :) Sometimes she doesn't even bother getting up the 2nd time anymore. I just started this several days ago and it's going so well (she was a non-napper too and she's been napping now 2-3 times a day!!!)

Well its Saturday morning here, I had a pretty good sleep, kids slept right through but unfortunately woke up at 7am and Iwould have liked another hour at least!

its funny I live on the other side ofthe world and we have been to both disneys!... Tony and I came to america for our honeymoon we stayed for almost 4 weeks and had so much fun, we went first to San Francisco, we loved that there... then down to LA where we went to disneyland for a few days, did universal and trip down to sea world...then to Las Vegas for some adult fun...then over to Orlando and spent time at disneyworld we didn't want to come home, we had the time of our lives and felt like big kids, after that on the plane ride home we had vowed that once we had kids and they were old enough to pass height restrictions we were going to do an amusement park tour of the USA... we loooovvveee them! Being that I am pregnant we are looking at a good 10 - 13 years away from doing that, but thats okay our day will come! :lol:

oh you poor thing! I never sorted out Rileys sleeping till he was a year old, so I was able to do a more aggressive method of leaving him crying unless it turned into a high pitched scream. Took about 3 nights and he was broken, been sleeping through ever since!.. I hope you have success with this and it works soon for you! it can be so exhausting!....

I am so excited to have my baby, but I am nervous as all hell doing the nightly feeds and then waking up to two terror boys during the day :lol: am I crazy! i feel crazy!
