Hey there. I plan on going to some garage sales and would like to look for some nice name brand stuff for next fall/winter. The only thing is, is I am not sure what size to get. Lindsey turned 2 in February and at her doctor's appointmet was 29 pounds and 36 inches tall. (Yes, she is big for her age...I just had someone ask if she was 3 or 4 years old  ) Right now, she wears 3T. Do you think that I should keep buying 3T for the fall/winter, or should I move into 4T? Any suggestions?
By the way, 3T fits her well right now, but there is a little room to grow yet.

I'm not a big fan of buying ahead. You just never know. I got some awesome deals last fall for summer and went by what I thought the girls would be wearing (3T for Micayla, 18 months for Melayna since she's petite). Anyway, they are all almost too small. Both girls had growth spurts and Cayla is wearing mostly 4T and Melayna 2T.
If you're going to buy ahead I'd suggest buying bigger... so the 4T.

Brook, I'd go with the 4Ts, too. By Feb of next year Lindsey will likely be grown out of the 3Ts (as will Julia!).

I think that I will start looking at 4T stuff. I guess I would rather have things that she can grow into rather than too small.
I just have a hard time accepting the fact that I need to be buying 4T. What happened to my little baby? :disbelief:
