We recently began giving Alex pediasure which he surpriseingly loves. he does not east well i I thought he needed another sort of nutrition. he is getting one a day but we may start giving him two a day with meals.

Does anyone else use these and know where to get them cheaper that $10.00 for 6!

They're $10 for six?! :omg: We were thinking about starting Maya on it because she refuses to drink milk of any kind, but my gosh! We'll go broke buying that stuff for her!

Emma was on them for a long time in an effort to bulk her up. Yeah, they are ridiculously expensive. It's like buying formula all over again! I never found them cheaper than $10.

I've heard that you can just buy Carnation Instant Breakfast, and it's the same stuff. No idea if that's any cheaper or not. My ped also suggested making fruit smoothies (yogurt, berries/fruit in a blender, ice optional) instead of Pediasure, b/c Pediasure has a TON of sugar.

We've bought every flavour for Janelle and she won't drink it...I've recently started offering them to Caid since he has decided to refuse to eat lately...but he won't drink them either...

I've never seen them cheaper. If you/dh has a medical flex plan at work you can use that to buy them if your ped writes out that he needs them.

I was going to look at Sams Club and see if they have them. if not I may look into the Carnation instant Breakfast. I know they are way cheaper.

Caroline had these for a long time. I thought they were cheaper at Target, and I know there is now a Target brand version that is cheaper... We switched to Boost in December b/c when Courtney had her surgery, they gave us them with her meals and since she would not drink them, we gave them to Caroline who liked it. I think the composition is a bit different, but since they served them at a Children's hospital, I figured they were OK. They are much cheaper at Target than Pediasure.
