Has anyone been to such a place? I'm talking about all-inclusive ones with child care available. We were looking into the one in Ixtapa, Mexico, and there is one in Florida as well. I'd love to hear about people's experiences.

me too! I have seen them and would love to hear about them :)

I looked into it for our honeymoon...but they didn't seem to "let" you be lazy...so we opted for Sandals instead.

I went with my mom when I was young and I remember it being fun! But we looked into it and weren't sure we'd like it now. We're going to Beaches instead - similar, for families and has child care - run by the same people who own Sandals. I think Club Med used to be really popular like in the 70's but not so much anymore...but who knows!

We loved Club Med and hope to go again soon. We ended up at the St. Lucia Club Med for families on our honeymoon (our 1st choice package was cancelled at the last minute) and we thought it was amazing. All the kids seemed happy and most didn't ever want to eat with the parents since they had a great time in the "camp". We looked into it last winter and there are fewer properties that have programs for "under 2s" and decided we didn't want to spend the $$ and would wait a year or two.
