I was thinking the other day about my biggest fear... at first I thought death but there are worst things than death and the one that really gives me the creeps is loosing my mind :owow:

Something bad happening to Ian. I don't care about myself getting hurt, just him.

This is weird. Daniel (my son) dislocating a limb. :dunno: I dislocated my knee a few months ago and I am terrified that it will happen to Daniel.
Also spiders......LOL

First, anything happening to Liam. For me it would be being stabbed or burned. I don't why, the thought of a stab wound or a bad burn makes my heart race.

Number one is something happening to my kids. After that it's bees. I've been deathly afraid of them since I was kid and got one stuck in my hair. It stung me when I shook it out and missed my eye by about 1cm. :owow:

Fire in my house.
Lightning hitting my house. I cannot sleep through a thunderstorm.
Or a plane hitting my house. It actually happened just 2-3 miles from my mom's house when I was in high school. And we live within 3 miles of a major airport (BWI).

Anything happening to Matthew.
For me... fire (either a fire in my house or me being burned), stabbing, drowning, that sort of thing :errr:

Anything happening to Jackson or Brendon.
For myself, driving or falling off a bridge. I know it's weird, but I just hate driving on them, and someone actually got pushed off the Coronado bridge a few weeks ago by a tour bus. :errr:

I guess the first thing that jumps into my head is having anything bad happen to any of my family or friends – death or extended illness.
Other than that, I hate bugs. I just get the shivers all over if I see a spider or a roach. Unfortunately down here in Louisiana it’s Bug Central.
I also hate thunderstorms. I’ve hated them ever since I was a kid.
I’m really paranoid about our house catching on fire and losing all our possessions, especially stuff that can’t be replaced like photos and journals.

My biggest fear is never being able to do enough...
Never taking the chance to say I love you enough or to care enough...

Definitely something happening to Amelia or DH, or anyone really close to me.
I'm also afraid of a fire in the house, and driving on snowy/icey roads. :errr:

I have the main ones, about death or death to my DH or daughter.
Some wierd ones, though -
things twisted up in my fingers. It drives me crazy when, after washing my hair, some random individual hairs get twirled around my fingers. I have to pull them off immediately!
Fear of not being able to breath. Not a good one, since I'm having oral surgery on Thursday with a result being a swollen tongue!

Anne, I have the same fear (of not being able to breathe). :bighug: I hope your surgery goes well!
My biggest fear is the same as everyone else's - something happening to my daughter or husband. But for myself, I'm DEATHLY afraid of spiders. Bring on the snakes, bats, vampires and werewolves, but keep the spiders away, please!

My biggest fear is of losing my job and not being able to provide for my daughter, and for my son if he's visiting.
I used to be paranoid that they'd be kidnapped, or raped, or both. I'm still concerned that they'll be raped, but not like I was when they were younger.

My biggest fear is something happening to either of my kids, or DH, or any of my family for that matter.
Second would have to be someone breaking into my house. I was robbed while working in '99 and I just cannot get over it, and I still get freaked out when I'm home alone at night, which is often because DH works a rotating shift.

something bad happening to my family or DH, DH getting hurt at work, the future moneywise sometimes scares me a lot - not that we really have that much reason to worry but that is something that really scares me.

When driving, I am constantly in fear of getting in an accident. I think some people get medication for that.
I don't have children (yet), so I am terrified of anything happening to my baby dogs. :)

My biggest fear has always been and will always be that my children..or someday grand children would die before I did. I don't know why..but when I see people after they have lost a child it breaks my heart in so many ways. DH's cousin died of crib death at 23 mo. old. DH went to the funeral and he still has nightmares about it. Something like that would just kill me.

I am not afraid of dying or anything happening to my children or husband. While I am not afraid, I don't want it to happen. KWIM????
But I am deathly afraid of dark basements, snakes and spiders.

I'm terrified that something will happen to DH. I worry about it all the time. If I ring him at work and he doesn't answer the phone, I start imagining the worst. When he works back late (which he does almost every night), I get so paranoid.
I know it's irrational, so I never, ever mention it to him or let on that I've been worrying. I just can't help but fret about him when he's not in my direct line of sight.
Also, am deathly afraid of spiders and decapitation.

losing one of my children. :( I keep an extra eye on them when we go out places. I can't stand it when someone walks up to my cart in the store and touches my daughter. freaks me out! I don't worry about this but when out and about I am extra careful. my children and DH are my world! material things can be replaced but they can not.

Losing one of my kids, or Shawn. I worry about this way too much, I think.
My biggest phobia is earthquakes. Everywhere I go, I plan what I'll do if an earthquake hits while I'm there.
My second biggest phobia is flying. I still do it, but it terrifies me.
