Pee, that is. Joe's new thing is "mixing" pee with Daddy. It started the other day after his OT. I took him in to go potty and I said I had to go as well, and he said "We can mix!" Then tonight when he was going potty, he said "Daddy, you pee too so we can mix." So how can I say no to that? So I went as well and he said "See Mommy - this is how we mix!"
Apparently he picked this up at daycare, since they all take turns using the potty. So does anyone else like to do this?

Jada and Justin are the complete opposite. They MUST flush the toilet after each person makes potty; I try to get them to mix when they go one right behind the other but part of their thrill of going potty is flushing the toilet - so whatever works :)

We have blue water in our upstairs bathroom thanks to one of those bowl cleaners.
Lexie likes to make it GREEN! .... "I made it GREEN, I made it GREEN Mommy!"
We consider it an educational lesson in secondary colors. :lol2:

Oh my gosh! Joe doesn't like when Aidan pees at the same time, so it's not something Aidan's brought up much. I can totally see Aidan and Colin doing this when the time comes though. This is one of those things I never thought about when I had boys!

He did it again last night when we were getting ready for bed. He insisted that we had to mix, and Mommy had to watch.

Nope. Rebekah must flush after going AND she even flushes before going if the previous user didn't flush. She gets that from me. I can't pee into a toilet that hasn't been flushed. :dunno:

My almost 4 year old granddaughter invites me to pee "on top of" hers, before we flush  !

Nope. I mean we do it but he doesn't acknowledge it.

I think it's kinda sweet (in a weird way) that he wants to be so connected with you that even your pee has to mix.
My DH and I do this now and then to conserve water.....but ONLY if it's #1!! I will NOT go behind someone who's done a #2. :dead:
As for suggestions...my feeling is that it's probably a phase and will most definitely pass when peer pressure kicks in. :awink:
