Does anyone else have a child with ADD/HD? My son was diagnosed at age 4 by Riley's Children hospital... He is now 7, in 2nd grade, and starting to have trouble again... Just looking for other parents out there like me.

Jacob was diagnosed at age 5 at Riley (who was your doctor?) He's now 9. We've been controlling it purely by supplements and diet and he's never been put on medications. Thank goodness. I have lot of links if you are interested!

Kyle was diagnosed with ADHD in first grade and was put on meds' at the teacher and doctor's urging. I took him off of them after a couple of months because of the side effects and he hasn't been on anything since. Now his teacher thinks he may have slight dyslexia and ADD. They're going to start the testing process soon but I'm not sure what that consists off...for the dyslexia, anyway.
Shel..I'd be interested in those links as well :nod:We don't want to put him back on meds at all.

Hi Sherry,
Does Jordan have a supportive teacher? Some teachers are really skilled at using techniques in the class to help the student and other teachers just don't know what to do. Good luck! Joan

As Shel said, I am definitely here.
Yumi is now 7 years old, starting 2nd grade and officially has ADHD (not borderline). He is on meds (Ritalin LA).
So... how about an ADHD support thread? Who is in?

Great!
Where do we post that thread best? I want to make sure it is in a subscriber-only forum.
ETA: Sheila closed this forum to non-subscribers so we could have it in here.
