OMG. Beautiful dress. Why don't they have cute stuff for boys? Just that samo shirt, tie and pants.

your right..it is always the same for the boys. SOmetimes Ty wears a suit but I am not going to spend the money on it this year. He actually wore the same suit almost 3 years (Not for easter but it fit that long) and while it is a great investment I just don't want to go that route. He likes to wear a shirt and tie like his Daddy and at age 9 1/2 that works for us. I used to do the cute shorts/dress shirt/suspenders look. DH hated it but he was so cute when he was little in those things.
ps. I got that dress from ebay. I have bought now 4 dresses from this same seller and LOVE THEM. the dress was 19.00 and the shipping is always 15 but you can't go wrong and the dresses are wonderful. IF anyone wants the seller I will let you know. There are so many styles and such!

Caroline is wearing a pink linen 3/4 sleeve dress that we got from one of James' clients who sends us tons of stuff. I will have to take a picture later.

Gorgeous dress, Jayne!!!
I'll have to take a photo, but since we dont do much, we go pretty casual. Norah will actually be wearing a Gap NWT dress we got from Stef in a swap...its white short sleeve on top and the bottom is navy & white floral patchwork pattern of some sort. Elliott will be wearing khakis with a RL navy sweater vest & white polo shirt underneath and Aidan will be wearing khakis and a argyle green/navy/white sweater vest with a navy polo shirt underneath. I tried to color coordinate them as best I could, while still haivng them wear stuff that they'll wear again.

This is what my kids are wearing for Easter this year... DH got to choose this year, cause "I never get to pick"...come one, you're a guy, you're not supposed to want to pick! :hysterics
For the dressy type pictures...
Janelle though we got her white sandals without any heal in them...I just couldn't see her walking in those...
http://s7ondemand1.scene7.com/is/image/Gymboree/17026144?$240x305$
Kincaid with brown sandals
http://s7ondemand1.scene7.com/is/image/Gymboree/17024231?$126x160$
And for their second outfits. Both with khakis...and these will be warm enough to wear on Easter and to easter functions, since the dress/shorts will not be for march in michigan!
http://gymbohaven.com/04bunn38.jpg http://gymbohaven.com/04bunn43.jpg
and I'm still making a decision about these...I bought them, and Kincaid's looks adorable on but Janelle's look silly in my opinion. But if I put caid's on him Janelle thinks it's unfair that she doesn't get a hat too... so I don't know for sure what I'm going to do about the hats.

Everyone's outfits sound so cute. I can't wait to see pictures!
Jillian I love those sweaters with the hats. I don't think she will look silly. I am actually looking to find a sweater like that for Alyssa for going to family functions. I know she won't be wearing that dress out in the grass to easter egg hunt

Olivia will be wearing this dress if it fits. I had the lady leave the bunny off so she could wear it after Easter. Her dress will just have Olivia on the collar.

Easter is a prime instance of why I need a girl to dress. We don't get really dressy anyway, so the boys will wear khakis and something I buy the day before, probably.

Riley is wearing this (even though I bought her another dress I like better and is blue and yellow and would match her brothers better, but I got outvoted)

I had that dress on my watch list the other night. I didn't bid on it but would you believe it sold for $131.00!!! I couldn't believe someone would pay that much money for a dress. I guess their little girl really wanted it.

My mother is making the kids' outfits. Ellie's dress is going to be made a pale green fabric with pansies all over it and silver threading throughout.
Ian is going to have blue/gray corduroy pants, a white oxford shirt, and a vest made from a tapestry fabric with little dinosaurs. It's going to be very cute! :love3:

I got this at Janie & Jack this morning. Emily will wear it on her 1st birthday party on Friday and Easter (and I'll have her wear it as often as possible to get my money's worth  ).

Katie is wearing a pale pink dress with a bishop smocked collar--I love it! I had her try it on the other day so I could see if her slip was too long (and it is--I have to hem it up.) She'll wear it with white tights and white Mary Jane shoes...and a pink bow in her hair, of course. ;) I also have a white cardigan sweater for her to wear at church because it wil be chilly.

Sarah & Cortney -- I love your outfits so much!!! I wish I wasnt being so practical :)
Here is what my kids are wearing for easter this year. The boys will wear khakis, as well. Now I just need to get Norah some white mary janes (casual, not dressy).

VENT. I actually tried to shop for shirts for the boys last night. Easter is in MARCH. March is COLD in New England. So WHY CAN'T I FIND ANYTHING LONG-SLEEVED? :complain: I found a few decent shirts at Old Navy (sales rack) that will be okay with khakis, but they are sub-par. Okay, actually, I found some decent ones at The Gap too...but they are still $25 and not overly likely to fit next year, so I'm not willing to spend that much money for a few hours of wear. Suggestions?

Alyssa --do you have a Childrens Place? That is where I found Aidan's first shirt (and alternative shirt --button down oxford). I think I paid $12.50 for it. They also have cute sweather vests, also $12 or $14 (cant remember).

I agree. I hate it when Easter is in March. Most of the dresses are sleeveless and it is way too cold to wear a sleeveless dress. I know she could wear a sweater but she usually has to wear a sweater with a short sleeved dress too.

This is what the kids are wearing. I have a hand-knitted sweater for Katie and matching tights. The dress is from Janie and Jack and Ben's outfit is from a dept. store.
