Okay I admit it I am in over my head, I have too much on my plate right now and I just can not keep my house clean. I once thought that having a cleaning service was a luxery, but right now, working 60+ hours a week having 3 children and trying to keep up with my house is too much so DH and I are going to get a cleaning service.
I just don't know where to start. Does anyone have a service or does anyone provide a service and know how to find a good quality cleaning service?
Also any experiance would be helpful because I am really not sure what having a service entails
I am just sick of looking around my house and feeling swallowed up by dust and dirty bathrooms.

We have cleaning people that come every other week. We hired them when I got home from the hospital when Joe was born. It has been wonderful!! It took so much pressure off to keep things clean and to spend all day on the weekend cleaning. We found the people we are using through someone that worked with Dennis. She used them and recommended them. I would definitely start there. Ask around and see if anyone has someone that they can recommend, or if they know someone who is using a service and then ask them if they like it. Or, if you find a service, ask for names of people who are their clients and call them and ask what they think and if they have anything that they would like done differently.
When we decided to go with the service, the owner came to our house to go over everything with us. I toured the house with her, explained what we wanted done and what rooms, etc. Then she determined the price based on the size of the house and what we have done. Currently they are sweeping, mopping, vacumming, bathrooms and dusting. They also make the beds and if we leave out clean sheets, change the sheets. They clean the stove top, in and outside the microwave and toaster oven and the outsides of the fridge and dishwasher. If we pay them extra they would do the windows and clean out the fridge (which we have never had them do). If you do know people who have cleaning people/service try to find out what they pay so you have an idea of what the going rate is. We pay $80 each time for a 2800 sq. ft. house and there are 2-3 people that come and do the cleaning. If you have any questions, let me know.

I went to a site called servicemagic.com and according to them they check the services out etc but I am not sure. I got two names out of them, called one and one called me and she seems very nice 100 for the inital cleaning and 90 for the monthly cleanings. It may be less when they come out because I may just have them clean the bathrooms and kitchen.
I dunno I feel so selfish wanting this, but there is no way I can keep up.
