New Server Coming, Site down soon

The new server isn't being installed tonight.
Most likely, it will happen on Tuesday.
Oh, and I've been asked to let you know it will be down for roughly an hour and when its down, it will be DOWN. No message saying its gone or anything, it will just be gone.


The current plan for the new server is Thursday evening (2/23) sometime between 5:30-7:30pm EST. Of course, since Stagg's plan is to make the switch after work (which involves driving downtown) there is a chance that he will decide not to do it then.

If he doesn't do it tomorrow night, he'll get to it sometime this weekend... I'll get a more specific time out of him if we are still using the current server on Friday morning.

His ability to filter me out is pretty impressive. Either that, or he believes I am making it up when I tell him that people like that program and want it back. So hearing from you (as many as possible! :lol: ) could prove to be effective.

Yes... I would REALLY love that journal program back!! I have 4 that need to be saved. I'm just waiting for him to bring the program back so I don't have to actually save it pdf. :lol:

I'm not going to implement that particular journal saver program. It requires a wacky server configuration, and the program is very inefficient. Since we have control over our own infrastructure, I think i'm going to create something new that actually integrates with the OUAL community as a whole. I'll have sheila start a thread about it, and keep you informed. You can use the thread to yell at me ( i mean motivate me) to work on it, but no guarantees as to when I will have something ready for use.
