I thought this might some of you a chuckle....though I'm not sure if it's a story about a bad toddler, bad mother, or bad wife.

I was (late) drying my hair before work in the 1st floor bathroom, Joe was upstairs finishing dressing, and the boys were playing in the basement playroom. I was getting ready to go when I opened the bathroom door to hear Aidan announce, "Here Colin, I got you some more M&Ms for breakfast." What's the worst word there: more, M&Ms or breakfast? I see him walking down the stairs carefully with two bowls. I started to say, "Aidan..." and scold him...then I decided to just say "Goodbye, love you!" and leave for work.

I'm thinking they ate the evidence before Joe found out what happened. I haven't gotten call yet!

(How this happened: We have M&Ms from Colin's party last Saturday on top of the microwave which in on top of our counter. Aidan has recently learned to manipulate the lazy susan to climb up to the cabinets. :owow: )

I'd say they're probably bouncing off the walls right now and Joe has no clue why

That's about like Emma and Eoin eating cheese puffs for lunch one day because I was sick and had no energy. I asked her what she wanted and she said cheese puffs so that is what they ate. Oh well, not like they do this every day.

 I'm picturing them eating big bowls of M&M's with a spoon like it was a bowl of cereal.

:rotflmao: So, does it make me a REALLY bad mother because *I* actually gave my child M&M's for breakfast on Sunday? Ah, what can I say, it was a bad morning! :rotflmao:

Good thing Emily can't read yet...I ration her to 5-6 M&M's a day from the stash her Grammie got her for Valentine's Day...

so was Joe tearing his hair out when you got home? I bet the bag is empty now!!

 I'm picturing them eating big bowls of M&M's with a spoon like it was a bowl of cereal. It was one of those straw bowls, so they were probably trying to suck 'em through the straw. Good thing they weren't mini M&Ms or there might have been serious trouble. :owow:

Joe seems to know nothing, and I'm still not telling! And I didn't get any worse a report than normal on the boys' craziness. ;)

And  to Tara on giving Tyler M&Ms on purpose...we've all had those crazy mornings where you'll do whatever you have to to get a minute of sanity!!

That is too funny!

Cameron has also had breakfasts of champions - Cheetos, Scooby Snacks, PEZ candy, and other very nutritional stuff. Sometimes it is just not worth the fight.

 That's great!!

Now what you fail to mention is how PROUD you are of Aidan for sharing with his little brother. That's so sweet!

At least they ate breakfast! Some mornings I can't get Patrick to eat anything. I bet he would go for the M&M's.

I agree with Clare. But you'll have to teach him not to be so generous with the new baby.
