How about clothes from The Disney Store?

I've bought several items, but I don't go haywire.
I hit a good sale after Christmas and got Lexie a Princess nightgown and matching slippers, along with tons of dress up stuff!

I also stocked up on underwear. I did notice that the quality of them was A+ . I even bought Ben some, even though it could be years before he uses them. hahah!

Oh, and I have my eye on these 2 swimsuits for Lexie! I have a $40 online credit for opening a Disney Visa (gotta start stocking up on points for our trip! )

I can't decide if I should buy them now or wait for a sale! I previously bought a disney suit for Lexie and she used it for 2 years! Great Quality as well.

Princess! (my daughter will FLIP for this!)

And Ariel!! :love2: I like the 2 piece for easy up/down when using the potty!

I like the costumes, but I don't really like the clothes. They're cute, but usually too sparkly/busy/character-covered for my tastes. Plus, I've found that they seem to run small. :(

I used to LOVE the disney store clothing (for proof...I have I think 3 disney store easter dresses in size 18m listed on e-bay right now), but lately I haven't liked much of it.

Except right now they have a tinkerbell line, as soon as it gets down to 50% off I'll probably buy the whole thing, Janelle's favorite thing in the world right now is tinkerbell.

But when I sold her 3-6 month stuff I had 30+ disney store outfits in that size, so I used to really like it.

Ohh, I do love the pj pals (too bad they don't fit yet, Janelle has goliath jammies and they fall right off her), and Janelle loves the night gowns, actually she loves any night gown, but the disney store ones are extra special cause she is obsessed with princesses, she knows all their names, etc.

We also have the dress up set from this past christmas, got it really cheap at the end of january.

I don't buy a whole lot in the clothing line but I too am looking for when the tinkerbell line goes on sale. Alyssa LOVES tinkerbell and so I can't wait to get this.

That said I usuallywill buy her sweatshirts there. They are so nice, soft, warm and hold up well. My cousin gave me two that went through two other cousins and they still look brand new. Tylor doesn't care much for their things but he is well past the disney stage I suppose.

I like their pj pals but...The wastes of the pants are to big and they tend to fall off. Everything else fits well but maybe it is because I have a potty trained tiny child. :dunno:

The waistes are huge, I mean there aren't any pants that fit my daughter (except 12-18 month gymboree, and that is only if she is wearing a cloth diaper with two inserts...if she is in disposable than still no), but pj pals are really really big I think, I had my grandma take janelle's goliath pants in for her.

I just thought I'd post because I'm a little ticked at the sizing of their sandals. :complain: I bought a bunch of stuff online and got the Princess swim shoes to match a swimsuit.

They sell 7/8 and 9/10. I ordered the size 9/10 because Lexie was recently measured as ann 8 1/2. Well, we get them and they're huge! I really didn't think she would grow into them this summer, so I had to send them back for an exchange (and pay shipping  )

So I get the 7/8 and I shoulda known. They barely fit her, so they have to go back too. ARRRGHGHGHG!

BTW I practically had to return everything in my order. The swimsuits ran big as well.

I got Aidan some Buzz Lightyear jammies and am soooooo disappointed in the sizing. While i like the material (a very soft cotton), the sizing is so fooked up. I got a size 5 (he wears a 5 in Carters). The shirt fits in length, but the sleeves are soooooo tight I can barely get his arms through....and my kid has skinny arms!!! The pants have a huge waist and I have to roll them over about 3 or 4 times to keep them up b/c they are huge in width and too long.

I'm disappointed too, quality-wise; I just got Caroline a NWT blue dress with Cinderella on the front off of Ebay. She refuses to wear it because the embroidered design doesn't have any of that "protective backing" on the inside and so the metallic embroidery of her name is really scratchy! C'mon, even Target puts that protective soft stuff inside of their embroidered items, why wouldn't the Disney store???

I noticed that on a sweatshirt we got for Isabelle- we ended up making sure she always had a t-shirt on underneath it, but it just seemed really odd to me that they didn't put the backing on there.

I like it..it's hit or miss. Sometimes everything fits great..then like Karri said..the waist in the pants are huge and the arm holes are fooking small. It's really irrating since David loves Buzz

Same here, Eleanor - this is hard to wear a shirt under though because it's meant to be a summer dress!

We don't have a lot of experience with Disney stuff, but I found it was cut kind of weird. She had a Finding Nemo shirt that was very long, but narrow through the torso. MIL recently bought her a Pooh outfit (fleece vest, fleece pants, long sleeved shirt) and I find the same thing with that shirt... long, but narrow in the torso. I was in the Disney Store last week, and noticed that all of their shirts seem to be cut that way. The pants look like they'll fit in another 2 years or so, but the shirt fits now. I'm not overly impressed.

Alyssa has a TON of T-shirts and sweatshirts from Disney and they fit great. I was told by a worker that the reason the arms are so tight is because of the flame retardent thing and that is how they are supposed to be. That doesn't explain t he huge waists at all.

I usually stick to T-shirts, Sweatshirts and Jackets from there. Alyssa got the cutest Varsity jacket from Disney and it is Tinkerbell. It is a 2/3 and fits her PERFECT. I hope to even get some use out of it for next year!

I do their costumes, but I agree they are too busy and character covered for our tastes. I haven't had the best of luck in them wearing very well either. The panties elastic shred really easily. The colors seemed to fade quite a bit. I guess that's why I'm gymboree loyal anymore.

I had to revive this thread because we bought our first article of actual clothing from the Disney Store last week (we buy pjs and costumes regularly) They had new jeans that had just one stamped Tinkerbell on the right thigh and she had silver glitter wings, Abby adored them and I thought they were really cute too. We'll see how the quality goes...

We will be ordering the Snow White costume for Maggie and I was kinda wondering what size to order. She is in 2T right now. I would like her to be able to wear it for Halloween and for play for a while after that. Should I get her an xxs or and xs?

You should go with an xxs, we bought an xxs costume for Abby last year and it still fits and she wears a 3, sometimes 4.

I have been thinking about getting Alyssa the tinkerbell costume. I loved last years costume. I just can't seem to be able to part with that much money.

I saw those jeans Nicole..They didn't have Alyssa's size so I didn't buy any but had they I was very tempted to buy them. Alyssa is my tinkerbell and anything Tink she loves!

I really like the striped tights the disney store has right now...but I have no clue what Janelle would wear them with. She wants all those tinkerbell clothes though, but they won't fit her.
