Just curious if anyone buys Hanna Andersson (http://www.hannaandersson.com/division.asp?mcn=2&gpId=24) clothing?

It's too pricey for me, but I'll buy on eBAY for a good price!

Ditto for me. Right now, my kids grow too fast. Well, Aidan is finally slowing down. I am actually watching a few auctions at this moment. I love Hanna stuff and the quality is great and it resells, but I just cant bring myself for buy everyday stuff at regular prices for this age. So....ebay  Oh --for Norah, I love love love the play/daydress w/ the matching loose fitting opposite color leggings. And I am still debating about buying the twins the matching Storyteller sweater/dress for their b-day next year. I thought about it this year and it wasnt practical. But next year....

I must say I haven't caught the fever on this one. I've been getting the catalogs but just haven't really fallen in love with anything. (especially the prices!) DH doesn't like their stuff- and he said no-no to the boy's clothing for Brandon. (I'm still working on that one ) I have been contemplating getting Lauryn a playdress just to see what the fuss is about. Her growth has slowed down and I've been able to justify spending a little on her clothes.

I just recieved my first full price purchase. Before I always bought at their biannual sale but I couldn't resist 2 outfits. Last time I waited for something to go on sale it was sold out. I love the quality of their clothes. Last year I bought the zoo pals fleece jacket on sale and We have wore it all winter and it looks great. Since Ihave a little peanut whot doesn't grow that fast I am sure it will still fit her next Fall. Still. when it comes to Hannah I will only buy once or twice a year and I really must love the outfits.

The quality is great. I don't buy much, a few things here and there. I buy most of the clothes oversees.
I bought some swing tops for my daughter when she started kindergarten..bought them a little bigger and they still fit...4 years later. :sunny:

We have a few Hannas. We have an outlet nearby, so occasionally we can spot a good deal there. We also have a regular Hanna store near us, and while I LOVE the stuff, I won't buy it unless it's on sale or at the outlet. Now that Katie isn't growing as fast, though, I might consider it. The quality is awesome and the stuff lasts forever, which doesn't matter that much when they're in a 3-6 month size, but matters a lot more once they're in a size 4, I think.

I love HANNA! Parker wears a lot of it. I actually buy about two sizes up, so he can wear the items for a long time. I have mommy clothes too...they are the best :)

That's the only kind of undies Morgan wears!!! :) Did you get the 'low-rise' ones or the regulars? I always wait until I have a 20% off coupon code to order them though.

I thought about hunting for a coupon but she really needed her undies now!

I ordered the low rise and the regular and the regular was on back order. The low rise fit fine so I just had them send me another package. She likes the new undies and I haven't yet witnessed a ride up. :aok:

I did go to the Jacadi store last Sunday and wow! Their undies were even softer than Hannas. No price on the package if that gives you a hint. :awink:

I just received a HA playdress in the mall today. They are on sale so I broke down and ordered one after wanting to get Emma one for the past year. Very cute and soft. It is an 80 and there is lots of growing room so i am sure she will get good use out of it. :)

I buy lots of clothes from Hanna for my little boy, who just turned two. I just had a baby girl and can't wait to get her started as well.

The clothing is expensive, but the quality is great and wears like iron. At the end of the season the clothing still looks practically like new. I also really like their shoes. My little boy has played hard in all his Hanna shoes and they really hold up.

I love the organic cotton used to make the clothes, partially because I like the whole "organic" thing, but mostly because they are so soft. I've never been disappointed in any of the clothing or had a bad customer service experience. They're especially good about returns/exchanges.

I buy a lot of my son's shoes from Hannah, which he wears daily to daycare. His round toe sneakers still look practically like new, which is amazing considering he wears that to play in the rock playground every day. Why do daycares always have playgrounds covered in rocks, anyway?

The new fall lines are now online at Hanna.

DH and I were at Baby Gap the other day and I was buying PJ's 50% off for next summer. He asked how much they were ($13) and asked if that wasn't a lot.

He has no idea...

I have that same striped hat and mittens and it is soooo cute. We also have the similar coat, although ours is a bug design.

I love Hanna stuff - it is so cute and great quality.

I'm still finalizing my order list for this fall and winter! I have the most fun ordering the stuff, so I like to salivate over it!

i got a 'floating flowers' set from a loopie for $20 shipped! including the onesie, 2 pr leggins and the pinafore dress. talk about bargain! it is sooooo cute. she also included the matching wrap shirt for free cuz it had a pen mark on it.

Kim, I think I saw that there was a 25% off coupon (or maybe you don't need the coupon, its just something they are running?) right now at some of the Kittery outlets, including HA. I think I saw it on GR, under the Hanna thread. Let me know if you want me to look for it for you!!

I am searching for the Play/Day dress for Katie on ebay but not having much luck....which makes me HAVE to have it even more!

 To Canada, the shipping is $11.50 plus I get dinged with taxes and duties. Hopefully, i can get down to Seattle soon which will save on shipping.

Question: Anyone know how there socks hold out? I don't know but $12 seems ridiculously expensive for a pair of socks

Dori

I thought $12 was expensive for a pair of socks as well and to be perfectly honest only bought them because I was too lazy to take them out of my cart before checking out. And I have no idea how much they charged me for shipping??

I'm sooo tempted to buy a playdress but haven't really even figured out how much it all would cost. $66 huh? Yikes!!!!

Kim- there was someone selling NWT playdresses on ebay. Someone on the other board bought one and I think it was not even $30 for the set. They were all BINs. They were smaller sizes- 70 and 80 ( I need 100) I looked for them last night but couldn't find them.

Kath

Its actually two pairs of socks for the $12, right?? (Granted, $6 for a pair of socks is still pricey!!)

Question, would you order the polka dot or striped socks to go with the striped playdress? I love the picture of the baby in the pink/green dress with the dotted socks!

Kim, if you make it to the outlet, come back and let me know if they had any of the playdresses there! Maybe I can sweet talk my MIL who lives in York to go shopping for me. ;)

2 pairs make more sense. I just looked it up and you are right. it is 2 pairs for $12...much better. :)

Kath

I'm thinking of buying one of those dresses from that seller even though I'd probably be smarter to buy a size 80 rather than 70 (?) but kind of wanted to wait and hear what the outlets have. Plus, I am only about 45 minutes from where the seller lives so I really would hate to pay $5+ for shipping!!! :omg:

bad news on playdresses unless they pull a ton out for the sale.

this is from Gymborebel. i asked the girl who went what she saw

I'm sorry I didn't pay more attention to sizes while I was there. Here's what I remember....

I bought Emily a 70 in the long sleeve playdress. They only had a few left and they were all 70 and under (otherwise I would have bought another one for Emily to grow into). They had a ton of the short sleeve playdresses, but they were also all 70 and under and too small for Emily next summer.

I did look in the girl's section because I think that's where 80 starts, but I didn't see any playdress sets in that size.

I promise to pay more attention the next time I go! It looks like that won't be until October though......

Nicole

Girl size starts at 110 for the playdresses, I know that since Abby is right in between the two sizes based on their sizing. Too bad they don't have much, that sucks!! I love the summer ones too though...

Kath
August 24th, 2005, 03:17 PM
Well that sucks that they don't have any 80 dresses at the outlet. Maybe they'll get a new shipment in by the weekend?? Always hoping!!

The Hanna website says that height is the most important measurment for their sizing. Well I measured Katie this morning and of course she is 74cm, right in between!! I wish I could see the difference b/w the 70 & 80 in person. My sister had a size 50 dress for her DD last winter and says it still fits her (but its obviously a lot smaller) and she and Katie are the exact same size.

that's 20% off your purchase.

on the BBB you see ppl asking for 'codes' for old items, they mean catalogue numbers.

for example BRIDGET might be interested in this one for size 70 playdress set from last year 29078 for only $34...then take your 20% off and hey, good deal!

Thanks for the code, Kim! So a playdress set will be around $57 minus 20%= about $45? Hmmm. That actually might be doable. Lauryn is so much into dresses right now that she refuses to wear anything else. I just don't know if she'll wear the leggings come fall.

So people look for catalog codes? So am I supposed to keep old catalogs in case there's something there that I might want in the future?

Thanks for clarifying all this Kim! This is way different than shopping at the Gap.

OK. Me stoopid.

What is BBB?

I'm all about buying the old stuff... but like Lysabu... do I just keep old catalogs for codes or do I join BBB and ask others there? Easiest just to keep the catalogs, I guess, which I keep forever anyway.

Kim, you are the all-knowing goddess of the WORLD!!!!

And yes to all, the Luv a Bug coats are huge. I had to roll up Caleb's sleeves like two inches on his regular size.

I found the thread Kim linked to on the Baby Bargains Board - I was signed up there and forgot! It lists some misc. codes for old items.

Anyway, you just enter the old catalog codes if you find them and it pulls up old stuff if it is still available. If not, I guess nothing pops up. I've tried it on several things and it's so awesome! I'm definitely keeping my old catalogs from now on.

That's the amount of "expertise" I've gleaned from Kim in the last day!

I haven't ordered anything yet for fall from Hanna - which is bad because if you wait too long everything is always gone. I enjoy salivating over the purchases I like to delay the gratification.

Also, I keep meaning to analyze exactly what Caleb has before ordering and I never seem to have two minutes to do it. Probably won't order much for Ahna because my mom likes to get her stuff for Christmas from there and I know she's got her eye on severl things. :victory:

i scored some hanna at the resale shop today!!!!! imagine my shock when i saw one of those fleece jackets like the luv a bug!! this one has mice and cheese on it...like this, but mine's red. i was going to order the luv a bug too...i have it in my cart...however, this one was.....you ready?.......$3.99!!!!!! :woo:sure it's got some pill but seriously, i nearly starting shaking when i saw it  it's a 90 but she'll get a few years out of it. it's not enormous.

How was the outlet???

We ALMOST went to the outlet on our way back from NH, but it would have meant driving 15 minutes back north out of the way...and gotta love the Hampton toll traffic. I was worried though that I'd skip the outlet only to come read here that you had gone there and totally scored a bunch of things in Gianna's (aka Katie's) size!! But, great finds at the resale shop though. And happy birthday!! :)

I need you advice. My mother in law sent my b/g twins the jungle journey fleece jackets in red and blue. She also sent the matching stripe leggins and bodysuits, one boyduit in green and one in red (goes with the trim of each jacket, red for blue, green for red jacket). My ? is, which twin would you dress in each one? I'm worried that no matter what, people will mistake DD for a boy, even more then they do when shes wearing a pink dress with a pink bow. Any ideas?

Nicole
August 31st, 2005, 10:11 AM
Maybe you could buy the jungle journey jumper to go over the leggins for dd so that she wouldn't look too boyish, it's on sale and using the code it's pretty reasonable. If you don't do that then I'd put her in the red bodysuit and find a nice red bowband, and prepare for people to call her a boy no matter what!!

Here is Abby in her new fron eBay playdress set.

the playdress is cute too  i'm still deciding on a color for gianna. i am thinking french blue right now.

Nicole
August 31st, 2005, 10:48 AM
That is her wall and goodness no I didn't paint it. We have a friend that is an artist, she painted Sleeping Beauty's castle on one entire wall of the room (it's not complete since she has to put Dumbo in the sky) and she's going to do Addy's room when we decide if we want Small World or Minnie's House (probably Minnie's house...)
I loved the french blue but Scott wasn't down for it so we got the rose, they should be coming soon!!

Bridget
August 31st, 2005, 10:58 AM
ITA - I've had Ahna out in head to toe pink and blanket with flowers and everyone says "what a cute" boy, so I wouldn't worry about it. I think my mom is getting Ahna the Jungle set for Christmas, so we'll be having the same thing happen.

Maybe you could buy the jungle journey jumper to go over the leggins for dd so that she wouldn't look too boyish, it's on sale and using the code it's pretty reasonable. :bee: Thanks, that was just what I was looking for! I did a Google search hoping to find a past-lines Hanna site and found this thread instead. What a great group you are! Hope you don't mind me joining.

I took a look at Hannafannas. Not anything like gymbohaven but give them time. What's nice about www.gymbohaven.com (http://www.gymbohaven.com) is that they were given permission from Gymboree to list the catalog pics. There's another site who has permission www.gymboree-lines.com (http://www.gymboree-lines.com) It was put together by a lady from North Carolina. A couple of years ago she actually met with the people from Gymboree headquarters to ask for their permission and blessing for the site. She now charges a yearly fee about $12.00 per year. She's got the vintage lines, too. Something I haven't seen on the free sites. I'm now looking at the vintage listings on www.namethatline.biz (http://www.namethatline.biz) So much for gymbo. I can now see there are several sites to ID the older lines. What about Hanna?

Are there any other ID sites for prior Hanna Andersson lines? I'm getting 9 pieces ready to sell and want to know all their names.

Sorry, I got the price wrong. It's $25 yr/ $12 qtr. An eBay seller told me about that site. A bit pricey for me. I mostly buy. I have neither a nice computer nor a digital camera. I may be selling my Hanna at the Church consignment sale.

Nicole~ I love the red and pink playdress. Abby looks adorable in it,

:woo: I got the playdress in the mail today. :) Very cute. I am glad I stuck with 80. Even with shrinkage 90 would have been huge on her.

Here is a couple of pictures. Unfortunately, she has a bit of a cold today so she wasn't big into getting her picture taken.

I still haven't ordered either....I just SO want the red/pink set that's on sale in size 70, even though I'm sure it'd only fit through this winter, and I should get an 80 in another color. Katie is 74 cm....so I'm just on the fence. Good thing I have until the 25th!

My mom's Hannah order for Caleb arrived... but no capri sweatpants. Either she didn't order them or it got screwed up. She called and of course they are sold out of one of them. That's the thing about Hannah - the stuff is POPULAR! I'm going to order a few things and was waiting until my recent outlet shopping trip before finalizing my order. I hope they still have the blue/green boots I want for him... but I the shoes don't seem to sell out as fast as the clothes.

Well, I finally placed my Hanna order. I made one goof - the boots I wanted stopped one size too large for Caleb. Rats! And of course, a key pair of pants I want are sold out. I always have that happen, stuff sells out but its in like 10 more catalogs.

Here's my loot:
http://www.hannaandersson.com/images/s7Style/30248_990.jpg
I already have the hat from last year and it should still fit.

I love that Hanna has black turtlenecks. Land's End offers cute TN colors, but the funky colors are never available in toddler sizes.

http://www.hannaandersson.com/images/LiveStyle03/5F30153L.jpg
The blue outfit is the one I couldn't get, because the pants are unavailable. And I only want it with the blue pants.
http://www.hannaandersson.com/images/s7Style/29311_A71.jpg
I loved these boots, because they are similar to some Ecco and Umi ones I like, but more colorful and a little cheaper. But, alas, too big.

So I didn't end up spending much because my three main items were unavailable. I'd love to get this, but he really doesn't need it as he'd only wear it on the weekend.

Me too. I know my mom got the kids a bunch for Christmas, can't wait to get it! I have to be careful what I buy so that I don't repeat her.
Although it's not "cute" in a Hanna way, I also buy a ton from Land's End for Caleb. That stuff wears like iron, especially the pants.

I think Mom is getting Ahna the whole Jungle Fun line and I know she's getting this:
http://www.hannaandersson.com/images/LiveStyle03/5W30020_N50LFC.jpg

I wish I there was a little less of me so I could wear the matchy matchy mommy daughter outfits. I used to hate that kind of crap, but I've gone "round the bend" in that area too.

I have been debating with myself all week if i should buy this dress. I also have thinking of maybe buying it in a 90 instead so it will fit next Fall since she really doesn't need anymore dresses right one. I want to use the code so I better figure it out soon.

Aslo thinking whether or not I should get this "Little red dress" for Christmas now with the code. I wanted to get it last year and waitined too long and they were out. :( I kind of feel guilty ordering since I just got an order.

Anyway....Eva - get the dress  That dress is such a classic and so cute.

Well, that didn't take much convincing. I just ordered "The little red dress" in 80 for Christmas. I decided against the tights. I will just put her in normal red or white ones. I also got the sweater dress in 90 since she doesn't need it right now but i know that if I can't find it later I will regret it. I am still chocked up about the story teller dress last year.

No more Hanna for me until Spring now unless I take a trip down to Seattle.

I'm totally late to this conversation, but I'm so glad you ordered the red Christmas dress. I wanted it SO badly last year, but it didn't come in Katie's size. :( I'm still kicking myself that I didn't know about it when she could still fit into it! I might actually try to make a knock off for Katie one of these days - maybe for Christmas Day this year. I love, love, love it!

I love Hannas, but since we have both an outlet and a retail store nearby, I never order from the catalog or online. (Although, I have to say that the outlet prices usually aren't that great.) Still, I haven't received my catalog yet, either, and I'm totally annoyed. How do I know whether it's worth the trip to the store?

We went to buy it, and they didn't have it in the store yet, so we were going to just order it (or, more accurately, MIL was going to, to make up for a dress of Katie's that she ruined). But, we tried on a playdress for size, and it looked so cute, we got that instead. Katie actually got the same playdress color as Addy's wearing in that picture, Nicole, but Katie's is the polka dots, and we got the opposite dot tights instead of the leggings. Question for you folks---

I got Lauryn the playdress set in size 100. She's about 41 lbs and about 41 inches tall.

Here's what it looks like. I couldn't talk her into wearing the leggings.

http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b5ce20b3127cce940814582f2000000015108AaNG7Rozasx

Is this too short or do I just have to get used to this style? If I go up to 110, I think the sleeves would be way too long, right?

TIA!

Nicole

I think they tend to be a bit shorter because they usually have the leggins underneath. My daughter is just a hair taller and her 100's fit about the same and with the leggins underneath the dress doesn't look short.

Nicole...too cute! I love it! :) And OT: is that a painted princess castle mural? I've always meant to ask you

Nicole

It is Sleeping Beauty castle painted on her wall Dawn, we have a friend that did it and now we're going to have her do Cinderella's castle on Addy's wall.

Wow, very nice! So, so talented! So...does your friend do trips out to NJ? My girls would love that!!! (well, Alexia would...Ang is still too young to know what it is ;) )

She'd probably do it if you'd be willing to pay for her flight and room and board while she's there  And she is pretty slow, she is a perfectionist!

Thanks everyone! I have totally resisted buying the playdresses until now, because they seemed overpriced to me, but I'm so glad I got this. Or maybe I'm not, because I forsee more playdresses in our future, and my wallet will NOT be happy about that.

Kim, I love that! Did it come in bigger sizes, or just baby? Usually, it seems, stuff like that is baby-only. :(

Sandy, that's weird! Here's a direct link. You can cut and paste this into your address bar and see it that way, I think.

Anne- so adorable!!!!!

How tall is Katie again?

I got Lauryn a size 100 and while the arms fit great, the "waist" is up higher that where I thought it would be. I think starting at 110, the waist is lower.

AahRee
October 6th, 2005, 05:45 PM
Lyndee, she's about 41.5 inches - so very, very close to Lauryn's height. I honestly think Lauryn would be fine in a 110, but there is a small chance you'd have to roll the sleeves for a bit. Katie's are slightly long (about mid-hand length) but she just pushes them up a little if she's washing her hands, and she's set.

kim
October 7th, 2005, 09:21 AM
i would go up a size lyndee  especially if she won't wear leggings.

I can see it now Anne! Don't know what was up w/ it before? She looks awesome! I love those playdresses, but Hanna is just too rich for my blood. Well, for now. I'm sure if I stay on this thread long enough I will cave.

sandy (i swear i'm not following you around today  ) the resale on the playdresses is tremendous  go look on ebay.

AahRee
October 7th, 2005, 12:54 PM
Yep. That's the only way I can justify buying Hanna for Katie. I know it will resell for most of what I paid. :)
We *do* have a Hanna outlet here, if anyone wants me to check it for them. I haven't been there in ages, but I might need to make a trip down there, anyway, so if you're looking for something, let me know. :)

Kath
October 7th, 2005, 12:57 PM
I might have to take you up on that, since I don't know if/when I'll ever get to our outlet (about 2 hours away from me). I missed out on buying a playdress when Hanna had their sale, or rather I ordered one and then it went of stock. :(

Dawn

I am so in love with these playdresses!!! Just how I fell in love with Naartjie (thanks Kim ;) ), I'm loving these Hanna sets!!! (more $$, but I LOVE them! I would love for them to each have at least one set for now!)

Question about their sizing:

Alexia is 37" (6 mos ago) and about 28-29 lbs. How does their sizing run? Because according to the site I should be getting her a 90, would you agree? She is very small and petite, but she does have some height. I wanted to ask you gals first before I ordered. Surprisingly, I am IN LOVE with the Ribbon Pink/Green bean colors/sets! The colors are so different (for us, anyway) and the girls don't have any of those colors in their wardrobe (I'm a variety freak! ). I also love the Violet/Wild rose...but they have several colors like that already in their wardrobe.

The site says this:
90 cm 34-38 in. 26-33 lbs. 2-3½ yrs.

Also, I'm just not sure if I should get a set (playdress and leggins) in the dots for one and get a set in the stripes for the other so they can coordinate OR if I should get them the exact matching outfits. I love them both, and can't decide what I should do!

Thanks in advance!

AahRee
October 7th, 2005, 09:15 PM
With Hannas, you always want to go by whatever size they'd need for their height. :) I'd measure her to make sure she hasn't grown a whole lot, but if she hasn't grown more than an inch, I'd go with the 90. If she has, I'd go with a 100. :)

Thanks Anne! I will be sure I try to measure her, and we'll see from there. :) As for Angelina, I'll most likely get her a 70, since a couple weeks ago she measured a little above 27".

Another question I thought of (sorry!): Out of curiosity, has anyone ever ordered their clogs? How did you/your little ones like them? How do they run...true to size? If so, what size would a size 9 be? Thanks! If no clogs, what types of shoes/sneaks do you have them wear with the sets? Phew!

Man, something else....shipping. Is there free shipping after a certain amount spent?

I think I'm done!

We've done the clogs (actually just ordered another pair) I think they run a little small. :) And if she doesn't wear the clogs we either wear white keds or some bear feet- type shoes (normally from stride rite)

Amen! WHY can't they open one in Wrentham?!?!?!

I am seriously tempted to just make the drive and check it out though. Hmmmm. And maybe call it an early Christmas shopping outlet trip? If someone could guarantee me that they'd have playdresses there in Katie's size I would definitely make the drive!

kim
October 11th, 2005, 08:15 AM
kath i have heard they rarely have playdresses up there...so we can console ourselves with that.
i already committed to going to my mom's on saturday or i would soooo drive up there! i was going to go in august but bailed because of crappy weather.

the lure of 20% off new line is very tempting! again i hear they don't get everything.

Anne, I was going to suggest looking for the playdresses I'm wanting to get the girls. But reading the other posts, it looks like they most likely won't have what I'm looking for. Thanks for asking anyway. :)

I'll plan on placing an online order sometime this week for the pink/green playdresses for them. :)

Well, I think I *am* going to hit Kittery! My mom lives in NH and loves the outlets, so we're meeting there on Sunday for lunch and some shopping, since we never get to do that. Kindo of her idea but I helpd it along thinking "Hanna sale, Hanna sale..." I can only hope that they will have playdresses but I'll try not to get my hopes up.

kim
October 13th, 2005, 07:46 AM
kath, this just came across the loops :(

I called Kittery and the woman there said long johns and zippers will
not go on sale on Friday. They are $28 each and they have a very good
selection. I ordered red & white striped LJs for my son for Christmas
and 2 pair of zippers in a cottage print and some floral print. No
idea what they look like but they sounded pretty! They do not have
any play dress or matching leggings. Other outlets may have different
inventory of course.

Kath
October 13th, 2005, 08:42 AM
Well, that sucks. :( Katie is going to be playdress-less this winter unless I suck it up and buy one full price for her. I wonder what IS going on sale, and what they will have. I'm still going to meet my mom, so I'll definitely swing in there and check it out. Anything you're looking for??

Brandi
October 13th, 2005, 10:30 PM
Anyone been to one of the outlets? There's one in Michigan City, Indiana, not too far from Chicago. It's a bit of a drive for me (3 hours), but I was just wondering what they are like. Good deals?

AahRee
October 13th, 2005, 10:50 PM
I was there tonight, and they had some playdresses. They weren't 50% off the outlet price, but they *were* at outlet prices ($28 for a dress and $16 for leggings, I think). There were a TON of wiggle pants in just about every color that were $6 ($12 outlet price, plus 50% off of that), as well as a lot of summer clothes. And apparantly, more will be on the 50% off sale tomorrow. They hadn't received their markdowns for it yet. So, I'll be going back, if anyone needs me to look for anything. One thing they had that I might be getting is the Happily Ever After dress and the Velvet overalls. I think the they were about $28 or $30 each, and if they're marked down further, I'll definitely be getting them!

kim
October 14th, 2005, 08:10 AM
anne, i'm looking for: (all size 80)

violet/navy opposite striped leggings (last year's colors) and socks
orange turtlesuit (orange juice color if available)

and a huge long shot but i am desperate for these tights from last fall also in an 80

Kim, you are the queen of finding bargains!!!!

Lauryn wore her playdress for the first time last Friday. I went back and forth between the size 100 and the 110. The 100 fits perfectly with the leggings. I just hope it doesn't shrink too much. The 110 was just way too big- but I liked the length better.

DH was not crazy about the outfit- and I'm not telling him how much it was. He can look on the Amex statement himself.

WOW Kim - what a deal!!!!

I've decided that I am going to get Norah this Playdress for xmas, with the opposite stripe loose leggings, since we go pretty casual on xmas day, and b/c she'll be able to get a lot more wear out of it than the Little Red Dress
http://www.hannaandersson.com/images/s7Style/19171_130.jpg (javascript:OpenLargeImageWindow();)

I just dont know about size. 80 or 90? She's 33" and 24#, which puts her in an 80, but I want her to get some wear out of it, too. Anyone?

Eva
November 3rd, 2005, 02:32 PM
I would go for the 80. She is about the same size as Emma and Emma's is a 80 with some growing room. I bought her another dress in 90 and it is huge.

Karri
November 3rd, 2005, 02:40 PM
thanks, eva. and the leggings are 80, as well? norah is in 18-24 gymbo leggings w/ no room to grow in height.

kim
November 3rd, 2005, 02:57 PM
karri that playdress in violet i posted above is an 80...gianna is about 31in and 22lbs and you can see how long it is on her.

Eva
November 3rd, 2005, 03:20 PM
I just compared the gymbo leggings against the hanna ones and the hanna ones are about 1/2" longer than the gymbo 18-24 months and wider in the waist.

The Hanna in 80 are 18 "in length. I have had the dress for since the for almost 2 months so it been shrunk already.

HTH. :)

I asked him what, thinking they'd be something horrible. Well he pulled out the HA catalog which had been lying around and pointed out the little red snowflake dress (plus tights) for Katie and the nordic "Let It Snow" sweater for Chase. :omg: I was shocked, since I've been eyeing the dress for months anyhow and its really unlike him to put much thought into the kids' clothes. So, YAY, he is kind of into HA! That helps my shopping habit a little bit.

Unfortunately he HATES the look of the playdresses for some reason. ?? Katie will be getting one for Christmas anyway. ;)

It is odd that these men seem to not like the look of playdresses. My DH hasn't said anything eithe way but rarely does. Only once he told me he didn't lik an outfit I was about to pick up and that was at Winners (your TJ maxx).

:woo: on your DH wanting the Little Red Dress. :yippee:

Oooooooooooo Kim, I love it! I love it in the catalog and I love it even more on her!

So, if we were to catalog and/or online shop, how do you ever get a discount? There are a few things in the catalog that I love. I was thinking about maybe trying for some after the holidays are over for next year. Try and get it cheaper. I really think this dress looks so cute on the models:

And it breaks up a little bit of the red or green outfits for Christmas.

Oooh, I love the storyteller dress!

Kim, you could always just go for the fun of it (in case there are any great deals) but if not then save your $$ for the stroller. :) My ILs live right in York, I wish they'd agree to be my personal shoppers.

gianna and i went saturday:lol:...i got 2 turtlesuits in barn red (match the chicka jumper) on in 80 and one in 90, a grey jumper made of sweatshirt material which is nice, and 2 more turtlenecks..all in 90 for next year.

they had the 'girl in a garden' stuff at 25% off but nothing i really wanted. i was hoping to get the evening star sweater for my mom but they only had it in kid sizes :(. oh well it was fun and me and my girlie had a day out without the boys.

oh and i bought the stroller anyway :rotflmao: hey, it's only money!

No clothing from HA here (yet?), but I did just buy a diaper bag from HA on Ebay..it was brand new and cost me $31 shipped... The only thing I don't like about it is that it's black, but other than that it was new and seems pretty nice :) We'll find out just how much I like it in another 3-4 weeks, maybe sooner!!

When I saw your message about new markdowns on the web I couldn't help it but go look. And they had the new cozy fleece warmupsuit from 62 to 48!

So, I when to the outlet (I live 5 minutes from there) and ordered it (They didn't have it in the outlet but ordering through them I don't pay S&H)

I can't wait to get it, because it has been snowing for a few days andmy like QTPie surely can use it now.

my outlet won't give you the free ship unless it's full priced catalog :dunno:

anyway, i'm still holding out for the big sale. mainly because i'm ordering for next year.

You said it's after T-giving or something right? I would like to get a couple things as well .

I decided to go with a 100 for Alexia instead of a 90....even though she's still just a little under 38" but this way she can wear it for a longer amount of time. Hope it's not insanely huge on her though cuz I do plan on having them wearing it next week. We'll see....it suppose to get here today.

Angelina based on her being 28" I got her a 70.

Kim, Yes, I got them playdresses....striped one for Lex and the dots w/ striped leggins for Ang (in the less popular green and pink colors  ). That's good to know they shrink up....makes me real happy I got the 100 for Lex. Oh, and our cheap a$$ old dryer (came with this house) doesn't even have a low setting. :disbelief: Either air, medium or high. So I guess no drying on low....we'll just hang 'em.

Thanks so much Kim! I just got off the phone with CS. She's doing a price adjustment (well, actually a credit on my cc since the order has already been shipped) on the dot playdress. As for the leggins, I did get them at the $16 sale price when I ordered. The dresses come today and I can't wait!!!

The girls received their playdresses yesterday! :yippee: OMG, Alexia is SO in love w/ it (she was excited that she got to pick out the color she liked best which was the green bean and pink one) and she wanted to keep it on! The size 100 is very big on her (even had to do a triple roll on the waist of the leggins!), but I expected it would be considering she's small & it's mostly for the spring time anyway (even though they'll be wearing it now too). I washed hers and I did wind up putting it in the dryer on medium (like i said mine doesn't have 'low') and it was fine. I have to try it on her again to see if it shrunk down some.... but anyway, we love it! Didn't get a chance to try Angelina's on since she was so sick...

Does anyone know if I can get corkers to match their hanna sets from ebay?

Sandi you are ORDERED to post pics in this dress. I keep hoping to get it on sale for next year too! If you haven't bought much Hanna yet, you'll never regret it. Their clothes are so nicely made. Caleb wears tons of it, and now I'm glad to FINALLY be able to indulge in the girls stuff. I know my mom bought tons for Ahna for Christmas, so I'm holding out for SALES!!

Alexia wanted the dress with the stripes. My guess is because it had more pink in it. But truthfully I really like the dot dress better...the green background w/ the pink dots are sweet. :) They are great dresses though. Alexia will surely get to wear hers for the spring....it's that big (pants are triple rolled down....I got her a 100) and in the first pic you can see the length on the sleeve how it's big too.

Thanks Bridget & Kim. :) I love the dresses! I'm thinking of getting Alexia the dotted dress as well, as I really like that. and maybe a pair of the pink capris so she can wear one of the tops w/ that as well. If there's a good sale, I would also like to get them one more play dress...maybe the blue ones. :) We'll see. If I do, I
