This past Friday was the kickoff luncheon for Team Captains. It was great, and I am pumped for Walk America! Now I am ready to ask for Team Captains!
I am still playing phone tag with the coordinator to get our official team set up online. For now, I will ask that if you plan to walk, sign up as an individual. Switching to a team afterwards is pretty easy.
In a serious effort to get the OUAL team set up the way I am hoping, I would like to ask for some Team Captains. If you think you can get 5 or more people to walk at your Walk Site (http://www.walkamerica.org/wd_regp01.asp?si=&w=&walk=alone&team=&u=&prefill=&g=&change=) and are willing to be the leader, please PM me. I think it would be ok if you want to get some non-subscribers to walk for OUAL as part of the 5... OUAL can always be described as an Online Mom's Group or Playgroup for simplicity's sake.
