View Full Version : A question for the Life after Loss Forum

After much consideration, I am thinking about opening this forum up to guests. I realize that Life after Loss is a personal subject, so if anyone has any strong objections, I am willing to reconsider.
I am thinking about opening it up because
1) its REALLY slow in here
2) Opening it to guests will allow google to search it. Currently, all of the information in here is invisible to search engines
Please keep in mind that guests will not be able to post. Nor will they (or registered users) be able to see your avatars and/or signatures.

After going and rereading some of the threads we have in this forum, I would have to say that I would rather you didn't open this forum up. I know that I have a lot of personal feelings and information (stuff I don't feel comfortable sharing with non-members) in some of the posts.
I understand that we need to get more members. I hope there is another alternative.
Thank you for asking before just opening it up.

Have you thought anymore on this subject? Please let me know if you are going to open this forum up. I will go and delete my posts. Thanks!!

Melissa, since it seems no one else comes in here and you have asked me not to open it, I will not open it (at least for now, and I will always give notice if that changes)
I wish there were a way that we could become a resource for people who have suffered this type of loss, but I guess this is not the time. What you had to say was so eloquent and so touching. I completely understand and respect why it is so personal to you.

Sheila, that day has come. I am ok with you opening this forum up to guests. It still hurts to think about my m/c. However, if I can help someone else thru their pain then I think it will in turn help me. Those who have suffered thru m/c are now bound in a "secret sisterhood" as explained to me by a very wise and sweet lady. It's now my turn to help others as I have been helped! Open away! Thank you again for understanding my feelings on this a few months ago. It is really appreciated! That is one of the reasons why I stay. The administration really care about the members!! :hug99:
